6 games again last night and I again had 1 tip. I had the Oilers to win in regulation against the Red Wings and they did 5-2. Was some decent odds for that play so hopefully you backed it as it was around 2.00 for the regulation win.
I had mentioned that I wanted to take the Kraken last night but was worried due to the Isles play of late. Dodged a bullet there as the Isles won 4-0. Horvat got his first as an Islander.
The Sharks beat the Lightning 4-3 in overtime. If you took the Sharks you made out well as the Lightning were the heavy favorites. The Pens beat the Avalanche 2-1 in OT with the Avs outshooting the Pens 42-38 in what was a real close one.
The Knights beat the Preds 5-1 for a much needed win. The Preds scored first but it was all Knights after that. The Ducks beat the Blackhawks 3-2 in overtime
Only 2 games tonight.
Canucks vs Rangers
The Canucks showed in their last game that aren’t going to give up. They were down 4-1 but managed to tie it and lose in overtime. I keep reading about rumors that Boeser is next to be moved and that the Devils really want Quinn Hughes to join them so they would have all 3 of the Hughes brothers.
The Rangers last game was a good one where they beat the Flames in overtime. Trouba was a machine physically in that he had two fights and two massive hits on Kadri and Dube. Trouba plays an old school way with huge hits but each time he does he has to fight afterwards.
If the Canucks are going to be move more big pieces of their team, they may have already shifted their focus to next season and beyond.
The Rangers are the favorites here and we would need to take them -1.5 and with the way the Canucks stayed in their last game I have to skip this one.
Wild vs Stars
The Wild are in 3rd in the Central with 58 points and the Stars are 1st with 68. The Stars have played 3 more games than the Wild.
Over the last 10 games the Wild are 5-4-1 and the Stars are 4-2-4. They have played twice this season with the Wild winning the first 6-5 in a shootout and the Stars the next 4-1, both games were win by the road team.
Both teams are the playoffs at the moment and both could use this game to either further distance themselves or close the gap.
It should be a good one. I would lean towards a Stars win but I’m more comfortable sitting this one out.
