What an absolute disappointment the Leafs have become.
The first two games against the Panthers, they were unfortunate. But yesterday was just a piss-poor performance as they managed to blow the lead twice.
They’re on the verge of elimination, and it’s looking like a sweep.
How about those Devils? My god, that was incredible. What an odd freaking team they are. Just bizarre.
And a massive win for the Kraken yesterday. Even more impressive is they only racked up a 2.42 xG on that one.
One game tonight.
Oilers vs Knights Game 3 Betting Tips:
Scott: Well game 2 was a much different game than the first game.
The Oilers scored 4 times in the first and held the Knights to only 4 shots. Draisaitl and McDavid both scored twice. Reggie Leach and Jari Kurri are the record holders with 19 goals in a playoff year and Draisaitl has 13 already. It’s amazing how he has stepped up his game.
Game 2 was a nice a chippy game and I expect that to carry over into game 3. Emotions are running high and Kane is in the heads of the Knights so I expect Kolesar and Carrier to be throwing the body a bunch.
Brossoit lost the game and was pulled. It was his first loss since the game 1 against the Jets ending his win streak at 5 games.
With the Oilers at home in front of their fans I expect them to win again.

Graeme: What a 1st period performance that was for the Oilers. It was appreciated too, as I was going out Saturday and wasn’t sure I’d get to watch most of the game. Luckily I didn’t leave until the end of the 1st period and it was already over with at that point.
Now they switch venues.
Against the Kings, the Oilers won 2 out of 3 of their home games with that Game 1 OT loss. Against the Jets, the Knights won both their road games.
It’s a tricky one betting wise, as I’m not sure the Oilers goaltending and defense can hold up as well. They did have that electric 1st period. I wonder if the Knights are going to try and start fast, or try and stifle the Oilers and quiet down Rogers Place, which is bound to be electric.
advanced metrics over the two games put the Oilers as the better team for sure.
Betting wise, the only options I’d consider would be the Oilers, and the over. The over is at 6.5 at 1.74 odds which just isn’t really bettable for me.
Odds wise, I’d also have to take the Oilers in regulation which at 1.95 isn’t bad. I just don’t want to hitch my wagaon just yet to the Oilers. Want to wait to study their goaltending more.
I’m going to pass on this one.
Next time Oettinger should stay away from the lactose during intermission so he doesn’t catch that diarrhea again.
