There was only 4 games yesterday.
The Canucks beat the Rangers 6-3 and Pettersson had 2 goals and 2 assists for Vancouver. The Pens opened the scoring 45 seconds into the game and never looked back when they beat their rivals the Flyers 4-1.
The Stars snapped their losing skid at 3 games when they beat the Wild 4-0, Murray made his season debut for the Stars and picked up the shutout. The final game of the night was the Bruins vs the Avalanche and the Avalanche won this 4-3 in a shootout.
For tonight we have 10 games.
Sharks vs Leafs Betting Tips:
They just played each other on Saturday with the Leafs winning that game 4-1.
The Sharks are on yet another losing skid, this time 11 games. They are in last place overall. They are ranked last in goals, shots on goal, shooting percentage, goals allowed and shots on goal allowed.
The Leafs have won their last 3 games. They are in 3rd in the Atlantic and 10th overall. They rank 7th in GPG, 6th in shots and 21st in GAPG.
At home the Leafs have gone 9-7-2 and the Sharks have gone 3-16-1 on the road.
All signs point to a Leafs win so the odds are pretty one sided here. We would need to take them -2.5 and I just can’t pull the trigger on that.
Kings vs Lightning Betting Tips:
Either team has been very good of late.
The Kings are 4-4-2 last 10 and riding a 5 game losing skid into this game. They are 12th in goals, tied for 1st in shots, 2nd in goals allowed and 3rd in SOGA. On the road they have been good going 13-3-1.
The Lightning lost their last game and are 5-5 last 10. They are 14th in GPG and 27th in GAPG. At home they have been decent going 11-5-3.
It’s hard to back either team with they have been playing.
Kraken vs Sabres Betting Tips:
The Kraken have won 6 in a row and are slowly climbing back into the playoff picture. They are having troubles scoring ranking 28th in goals and 24th in shots but their defense has been good ranking 10th in goals allowed and 9th in shots on goal allowed. They have allowed only 6 goals over this win streak.
The Sabres have won their last 2 games and are 5-4-1 last 10. They are 22nd in goals, 15th in shots, 23rd in GAPG and 12th in SOGA.
I’m a little put off for this game. Sure the Kraken are playing well but overall this season their road record hasn’t been that good going 7-6-6. And the Sabres at home are under .500 going 8-9-1. But the Kraken have been off since Thursday so they will be rested. Yeah the more I look at it the more I like it.

Canucks vs Islanders Betting Tips:
The Canucks played the Rangers yesterday and beat them 6-3. To beat the Rangers is one thing but to double up on them is impressive.
The Isles are 4-4-2 last 10. They are having troubles stopping goals which has long been one of their strengths. They are ranked 22nd in GAPG and 31st in shots on goal allowed.
The Canucks should be riding the momentum they gained in that Rangers win but not a fan of taking them after they played last night. They have had to go back to back sets so far this season and they have gone 2-2 in the 2nd game of those. They played once this season and the Canucks won that one 4-3 in overtime.
They have been playing a lot lately and are on the road but decent odds for them including overtime so I’m going with them.

Ducks vs Predators Betting Tips:
Not a fan of the Ducks.
I avoid Predators games.
Easy pass for me.
Jackets vs Jets Betting Tips:
The Jackets continue to struggle this season. They have gone 3-3-4 last 10 and are in 8th in the Metro. They are at the midway point of the season but have a long way to go to get back into contention and you have to wonder based on what we have seen up to this point is it worth trying or go full on rebuild using Fantilli as their centerpiece.
The Jets have been incredible lately going 8-0-2 last 10 and on a 6 game win streak. They are in 1st in the Central and 1st overall in the league. They are better than the Jackets in all of the main stats with the only exception being penalty kill percentage.
As you can imagine the odds for this have the Jets the big time favorites. We would have to take the Jets -1.5 and 4 of their 6 games on this win streak have covered that.
The odds seem a bit low for the puck line so it’s not worth it in my opinion.
Panthers vs Blues Betting Tips:
Both teams playing well over last 10 with the Panthers 8-2 and riding a 7 game win streak and the Blues 7-3 and winners of their last 2 games.
On the road the Panthers are 13-7-2 and at home the Blues are 12-6.
When we look at the stats for these teams we can see which team is having a better season so far. For GPG the Panthers are 16th, the Blues 26th. For shots the Panthers are 3rd and the Blues 18th. For goals allowed the Panthers are 3rd , the Blues 14th and for shots allowed the Panthers are 2nd and the Blues 14th.
I would think that the Panthers would continue their hot streak but the Sabres are on their own little heater at the moment so I have to pass.
Oilers vs Blackhawks Tips:
The Oilers have won 7 in a row. They rank 3rd in GPG, tied for 1st in shots, 17th in GAPG and 4th in SOGA.
The Hawks won their last game, which was the first without Bedard, and are 3-6-1 last 10. They rank 31st in goals, shots and goals allowed. To make matters worse for them they have been hit really hard with injuries. They are without Bedard, Foligno, Jones, Athanasiou, Johnson, Hall, Raddysh and Beauvillier.
With all the players missing from the Hawks it was hard to back them before they lost everyone so now it’s almost impossible. But would need to take the Oilers -2.5 on the road to get any value which isn’t going to work for me.
Senators vs Flames Betting Tips:
The Sens are on a 3 game skid and the Flames 2.
Its an easy pass for me with this one.
Bruins vs Coyotes Betting Tips:
The Bruins played the Avalanche yesterday.
The Coyotes are on a 3 game skid and are in 6th in the Central. Statistically they aren’t that good ranking 24th in goals, 30th in shots and 13th in goals allowed.
I want to take the Bruins but they have been playing a lot of hockey as this is their 5th game in a week so I can’t back them as it would have to be in regulation.
