1-2 yesterday in what was quite a bizarre day of hockey.
Really, I’m more ticked off that I didn’t fully advise the underdog Wings. I liked them a lot yesterday, and it was just that Kings road record that really put me off. Hopefully y’all at least backed it for the half u.
Won with the Flames in a convincing performance over the Knights.
Panthers in reg lost. Frustrating one especially with what I wrote about not really wanting to take it yesterday.
Jets lost as well – I mentioned Ersson yesterday in the write-up, and they couldn’t get past him. In saying that, I thought the Jets showed up pretty damn flat for that one.
With only two games and B2Bs, I got nothing for today.
I did notice the Detroit vs Toronto game was pushed back a half hour because Red Wings had travel issues due to weather. I’m hoping that doesn’t effect the props I have on a couple of them to score.
Goal Scorer Props Detroit
DeBrincat +210
Tends to do better at home so that’s a slight concern. Also considered Raymond but opting to go with DeBrincat.
Sprong +500
Like this one the best. Not because I think he’s the most likely to score, but I believe the value is really good.
Seider +900
Long shot. Was between him and Gostisbehere. I believe Walman is still out, so maybe Seider gets looked to to provide some offense from the back line.
Toronto Goal scorer props
Matthews to score 2+ goals +470
Matthews had just one shot yesterday and was a -3 so he could bounce back with a more dominating performance here. Gets a good matchup vs Reimer. He’s being priced at -120 to score, so I like the added value if he can net a second.
Nylander +115
Most confident in Nylander being able to get one.
Bertuzzi +270
Was between him and Knies. Probably made the wrong choice lol.
Nothing for me today. I’m not going for the full game OVER with Detroit/Toronto, or even a lower total as an option, as both teams are on game 2 of a back-to-back, with Toronto looking forward to a long western trip they will consider tough and will need every bit of energy to deal with, and Detroit looking at 2 days off, so depending on their play-through injury situation, may just want to take it easy for a bit of a break. Toronto has long been a red flag for me for the unreliable efforts, so too tough to call. Plus, as DeNapos indicates, if Detroit has been getting schedule problems, even on a short flight to Toronto, they might just not be in the mood today. Maybe they will. Not touching that situation.
