After winning 9 games in a row the Kraken have now dropped 2 straight after the Rangers won 4-2. The Avalanche went to work in the 3rd scoring 4 times to complete the comeback 7-4 against the Senators.
The Oilers set a franchise record with their 11th straight win when they beat the Leafs 4-2. Kyle Connor returned for the Jets and scored an empty net goal when they beat the Isles 4-2
Only 3 games today which is fine by me.
Red Wings vs Panthers Betting Tips:
The Wings are on a 2 game win streak and are 6-3-1 last 10 and in 4th in Atlantic. On the road they are 11-9-1.
The Panthers have dropped their last 2 games but are still 8-1-1 in last 10. They are in 2nd in the Atlantic. At home they are 13-6-1.
The Wings are 4th in goals, 23rd in shots, 24th in goals allowed and 27th in SOGA. The Panthers rank 15th, 2nd, 4th and 2nd. So as we can see they are a much better team defensively.
Lyon is confirmed as the starter for Detroit and he has had some decent numbers this season mainly his .922 save percentage.
I would lean towards the home team Panthers to win here. But they have lost 2 straight so want to see them get out of this funk first.
Canadiens vs Devils Betting Tips:
The Habs are coming off of their win against the Avalanche but are still 3-5-2 in last 10.
The Devils lost their last game against the Bruins but are 6-3-1 last 10.
For GPG the Habs are 28th and the Devils 7th, for GAPG the Habs are 24th and the Devils are 28th.
On the road the Canadiens are 9-7-4 and at home the Devils are 9-9-2.
The played once this season back in October and the Devils won 5-2.
I would think that the Devils would win this game but it’s their home record that has me worried.
Blackhawks vs Sabres Betting Tips:
The Hawks played last night and won 2-1 in a shootout.
The Sabres are in 7th in the Atlantic and have gone 10-11-1 in Buffalo. They’re 22nd in goals and 20th in goals allowed. They haven’t been a team that has given us any reasons to back them in my opinion.
With the Sabres being the Sabres I can’t take them to win here and I’m certainly not taking the Hawks.
Sabres if Soderblom in net ?
