The Avalanche beat the Wild 2-1 in overtime. The Coyotes beat the Red Wings and this was the Wings 4th loss in a row and a terrible time to go on a losing skid.
The Jets got back in the win column when they beat the Kraken 3-0 and the Stars beat the Ducks 6-2 to stay in 1st place in the Central.
Busy day with 13 games. As mentioned in yesterday’s post these are going to be short. I haven’t had as much time to dig into each game as I usually would so the tips I post aren’t “official” tips so use at your own risk.

Hurricanes vs Devils Betting Tips:
Canes made some big moves bringing in Guentzel and Kuznetsov.
Devils in desperate need of points.
Making big moves may affect the team chemistry so I’m waiting before tipping Canes.
Predators vs Jackets Betting Tips:
Preds are in first wild card spot in the West.
Jackets coming off of that win vs the Oilers.
Need to take Preds in regulation. Couple new players and on the road so no for me.
Oilers vs Sabres Betting Tips:
Oilers in 2nd in Pacific but have only a 3 point lead over the 3rd place Kings.
The Sabres traded away their longtime captain Okposo after moving Mittelstadt and Johnson. They are way out of the playoffs and on a 3 game losing skid.
Oilers in regulation seeing Odds around 1.86
Penguins vs Bruins Betting Tips:
Penguins traded Guentzel and just got whooped by the Caps.
Bruins brought in Maroon for some toughess.
Bruins should win here but it needs to be in regulation and with the number of games they have had of late that needed extra time it makes it tough to bet.
Flames vs Panthers Betting Tips:
Flames still have a shot a the postseason. They are 6 points out with a game in hand over the Knights who they are chasing.
The Panthers brought in Tarasenko who is expected to join the top line and they also brought in the Sabres captain Okposo for depth.
Blackhawks vs Capitals Betting Tips:
Nothing
Flyers vs Lightning Betting Tips:
Flyers 4-4-2 last 10, Lightning 4-5-1.
Lightning added Dumba and Duclair so want to see how this changes things for them.
Leafs vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
Played once at start of season and the Leafs won that 6-5 in a shootout.
Habs 2-6-2 last 10. Leafs 7-3-0.
Leafs heavy favorites. They need this win to try and gain ground on the Bruins. They are better in all stats than Montreal and have a better road record than they do home so let’s go with it.
Leafs in regulation seeing Odds around 1.76
Senators vs Sharks Betting Tips:
Nothing.
Blues vs Rangers Betting Tips:
Blues 3-6-1 last 10 and 14-17-2 on the road. The Rangers haven’t played since Monday but bring a 2 game losing skid into this one.
With the Rangers having been off for so many days I’m passing.
Jets vs Canucks Betting Tips:
Jets played yesterday. Canucks on 3 game win streak.
Should be a good game that could go either way.
Wings vs Knights Betting Tips:
Wings played yesterday and are on 4 game skid. Knights on 4 game skid and added some new players so I’m skipping.
Stars vs Kings Betting Tips:
Stars played yesterday and Kings haven’t been great at home going 13-10-7.
