Well the Canes handed the Rangers their first loss of these playoffs when they won 4-3 thanks to a late powerplay goal. Will be interesting to see how the Rangers respond to their first loss.
The Stars scored twice on the empty net and won 4-1.
This waa a different approach for the Stars and maybe not having a big lead is the way to beat these Avs.
Graeme is having internet issuses so he can’t get me his write ups but said his thoughts on the play for each game was the same as mine when we talked this morning.
Panthers vs Bruins game 4
The Panthers went in to Boston and took care of business.
The scored 5 times on Swayman and won 6-2. They went 4-6 on the powerplay which is incredible.
The Bruins will have to cut down on the penalties as the Pathers PP is rolling. They also need to find a way to take more shots. They had only 16 in game 3 and in game 2 they had only 15. The Bruins may have to start Ullmark in game 4 as the Panthers have figured out Swayman.
With this game in Boston I do expect the Bruins to have a better effort as they can’t go down 3-1 in the series with the next game in Florida.

Canucks vs Oilers game 3
After being held to no shots and an assist in game 1 McDavid had 5 shots, 1 goal and 3 assists and the Oilers won 4-3 in overtime. Draisaitl also had a goal and 3 assists.
With game 3 in Edmonton the Oilers should have the advantage but this has been a close series with both games decided by one goal.
If McDavid and the other heavy hitters on the Oilers can do the scoring then they should be fine as this series is showing the Oilers lack of depth.
