When Bobrovsky is on he is incredible. He made 32 saves, including multiple breakaways and the Panthers won 3-0. The crowd was loving it chanting “Bobby! Bobby!”
They were outshot 32-18 but the Panthers made their shots count. The scored twice on their first 5 shots. They out hit the Oilers 63-35 and that’s the type hockey that the Panthers are known for and it wears a team down being on the receiving end of so many.
With game 2 still in Florida and the Panthers having momentum I like their chances. The Oilers will obviously need to find a way to beat Bobrovsky which they will do at some point and this game should be closer but after how they played in game 1 I don’t see much changing.
Graeme is traveling and doesn’t have access to internet so it’s only my thoughts and pick for this game.
