Well I’m back handling tips for the next 3 days, and today is basically a wash ha. It’s one game which is a back to back featuring the two same teams that played last night. So yeah. Not even going to bother!
Yesterday I mentioned the comments – hopefully some of you were reading that, and a shoutout to DeNapos who was so confident on the Washington game. I blindly backed that, and the Capitals delivered.
Anyway yeah if you have anything for this game people feel free to post. I’ll be back tomorrow for a bigger slate.
High results volatility of the early season is certainly happening. Can’t take any bets too confidently, this isn’t 5 weeks further into the season.
Have to think Washington takes this game. Moneyline odds aren’t great, but (probably) not going for the puckline. Philly is looking bad, and the Caps trades seem to have given them a major boost. I can’t see them wanting to waste yesterday’s win against a horrible team, and they get two days off after this Division game at home. These teams are heading in opposite directions. Or, they’ve already arrived on quite different plateaus!
Philly has accumulated the second most penalty minutes in the league, while Washington ranks 24th, at about half the penalty minutes. Back-to-back situation with backup goalies probably sees the second half of the game at a reduced pace, but all things are equal here. I’m not touching the O/U. It would gravitate to Over, but we may only see half a game at regular pace, reduced quality of play after 30 minutes, leaving the goalies with easier work, gravitating to Under. Or Caps win 8-2? LOL

Had an 8 game over 5.5 bet the other day and only lost on Ottawa (4-0 1st period) and Jets (3-1 2nd period). Woulda been a huge one too, at odds of 84.
