Rangers got the victory over the Islanders. Thought that would happen but there wasn’t enough for me to back. Bruins offense continued to struggle a bit, although they shut out the Kraken so got the win.
Glad I stayed away from the possible Canes/Caps over because as the data suggested – Caps couldn’t get enough goals to warrant it. Wish I had been able to get that Blackhawks game as an actual pick, but I just couldn’t find a way to justify it.
And the data saved me from the Flames, as they got thumped by the McDavid-less Oilers.
Thoughts on todays two:
Predators vs Kings:
Nashville coming in off that big Avs win. Kings the shootout loss to the Hawks. Preds favourites. I agree with that although I think it’s closer than the bookies have it. Not seeing any value here.
Oilers vs Devils:
Oilers on a two game run, Played last night, obviously. Slight dogs here to the Devils, who got thumped by the Flames 3-0.
Happy to pass on this game with the Oilers on a b2b, and without McDavid. By the data it’s close to 50/50 which is what the bookies have it as. Oilers goaltending has settlled down. My gut says the Devils offense is too much for them here.
Minnesota was fun! ๐
