There was 6 games yesterday.
I took the Sabres to win against the Canadiens but that didn’t happen. This was a crazy game and one that pissed me off as it went on. The win snapped the Habs losing skid at 6 games and ended the Sabres win streak at 3.
The Canes beat the Knights 5-2 to end the Knights home win streak. The Stars scored 6 in the 1st and beat the Pens 7-1.
7 games scheduled for tonight
Senators vs Leafs
These are always great games to watch as it’s the Battle of Ontario.
The Sens are 5-5 in last 10 and 2-5-0 on the road. The Leafs are 5-3-2 in last 10, on a 3 game win streak and have gone 7-2-0 at home.
These games are tough to predict with all of the history between the two teams and it makes all data almost useless as these two don’t like each other.
Jets vs Rangers
It’s basically impossible to bet against the Jets at the moment.
I do see the Rangers as being a strong team not only right now but I expect them to challenge for top a spot as the season goes on.
I’m skipping this game as the Jets are on a 6 game win streak but they Rangers are no pushover and may have what it takes to end the Jets win streak.
Devils vs Panthers
These teams played each other again on Thursday.
Devils are 10-6-2 this season, 5-4-1 in last 10 and 6-3-0 on the road.
The Panthers are playing great right now. They are on a 7 game win streak, are 8-1-1 in last 10 and 5-1-1 at home.
The Panthers should win and continue their win streak but they Devils are a team that’s better than their record shows.
Bruins vs Blues
Either team is playing very well.
The Bruins are 7-7-2 and in 3rd the Atlantic, 4-5-1 in last 10 and 2-4-1 on the road.
The Blues are 7-8-0 and in 6th in the Central, in a 2 game skid, are 4-6-0 in last 10 and 4-4-0 at home.
I know the season is still young but I need to see something from them before I start backing either of them.
Islanders vs Oilers
Both teams are at about .500 on the season and in 5th in their respective divisions.
The Isles are 6-6-3, 4-5-1 in last 10 and 4-3-1 on the road.
The Oilers are 7-7-1, 5-4-1 last 10 and 2-5-1 at home.
Both teams will be rested for this game as they haven’t played since Saturday but either team has shown me anything that helps me take them here.
Flames vs Canucks
Flames played last night and beat the Kings 3-1. They are 3-5-2 in last 10 and 3-2-3 on the road. The Canucks are 7-2-1 in last 10 and at home they have gone 1-2-3
These teams played each other back at the start of the season and the Flames won that game 6-5 in overtime.
With the Flames playing last night i would give the Canucks the advantage but their home record is bad so I’m skipping.
Jackets vs Kraken
Jackets on a 5 game skid and are 3-5-2 last 10. Kraken are also struggling going 3-6-1 in last 10.
Either team gives me a reason to back them.
My player picks for today are N.Niederreiter, S. Noesen, L. Draisailt and J.t. Miller to score.
I think Jets will win big today and have many goal scorers. I also like K. Conner, N. Ehlers and M. Scheifele to score but no bets on them.

I take New York Rangers to win @ 1.833 with 2 units
So there’s a couple of line moves that don’t make sense to me today.
Toronto from -148 down to currently -122. Feels too low. I know Matthews was eligible to come off IR for this game so maybe they anticipated that and built it into the original line. Seeing that it’s unlikely he’ll play tonight though, maybe that’s caused the move? Toronto also has to travel to Washington tomorrow so maybe not greatest spot for them. Toronto 5 on 5 offense hasn’t been great with Matthews out. But the Power Play has started to click last few games and gotten them some wins. Feels too low to me but it’s still a pass.
St. Louis +145
I’m going to take a shot on this one. It just feels like the price on Boston has gotten high enough. I priced Boston at -125. They opened -155. They now sit at -175. The move from the opener isn’t super huge. It’s roughly about 2.8 percent. But seeing how I personally already felt the line was high, this gives it enough value for me to take a shot on them. St. Louis should be underdogs, I just feel they shouldn’t be this big of an underdog. There’s a world where Boston beats them easily, and Im ok with that.
I have some goals scorer props I’m trying to play. I’ll list them quickly with the price that I got them at.
My Play
St. Louis +145
Goal Scorer Props
Winnipeg Connor +145
Rangers Kreider +200
Florida Verhaeghe +195
Boston Pastrnak +105
Edmonton Hyman +140
Forgot to add NJ Dougie Hamilton +550 was also a play.
One key stat you guys overlooked that the announcers pointed out on the broadcast.. Ottawa has won the last 4 games in Toronto in regulation! That would have made them a play for me.
Personally I don’t pay too much attention to trends like that. I just haven’t really found it to be much of a factor.
