Not tips yesterday.
They scored 3 goals in 70 seconds and the Bruins celebrated the 100th anniversary of their first NHL game with a 6-3 victory over the Canadiens.
The Canucks beat the Red Wings 5-4 in OT. DeBrusk scored a hat trick including the overtime winner, Hughes sets the Canucks record for most assists by a defenseman with his 311th and Kevin Lankinen set an NHL record for most consecutive road wins to start a season, he is now 10-0-0 on the road.
The Stars beat the Jets 3-1 handing the Jets their 3rd straight loss which moved them to 2nd in the Central and the Wild into 1st.
A slow night with only 3 games.
Devils vs Rangers
The Devils are 6-4 in last 10 and aren’t having issues scoring as they are coming off of two high scoring one goal games. On the road they have gone 10-4-0.
The Rangers beat the Habs in their last game snapping their losing streak at 5 games. At home they have gone 6-4-1.
The Devils have better numbers across the board including corsi, goals for,shots for etc. I do like the Devils chances here but they were swept in the season series versus the Rangers last season getting outscored 17-8. So maybe the Rangers use this game against a team they have had success against to start a win streak.
Blackhawks vs Leafs
Hawks have lost 2 on a row and are 3-6-1 in last 10. They are 4-8-2 on the road and rank 29th in GPG and 30th in shots.
The Leafs are 8-2 in last 10 and 2 of those came in overtime. At home they are 10-3-0.
They last played on November 24th and the Hawks won that game 4-3.
To get any value on the Leafs we would have to take them -2.5 so I’m skipping this game.
Stars vs Utah
Stars played last night and beat the Jets. They have won their last 2 games and are 7-3-0 in last 10. One issue for the Stars here is their road record where they have gone 5-6-0 away from Dallas.
Utah is 4-5-1 in last 10 and 4-4-2 at home. They are .500 at home,on the road and overall going 10-10-4 and are in 5th in the Central.
Stars are better in most stats with GA the only exception. XGA goes the way of the Stars so they are giving up more than then they should.
I think the Stars should win here. I know they played last night but all of the stats point to the Stars winning here. If Utah shows up than they do but I’m going with Dallas.

No bets. These games are carryovers of the weekend’s long list of back-to-backs. Toronto has a schedule advantage for today, but then again, they’re Toronto. Dallas and Utah will be feeling the exhaustion.

Seems to like facing the Rangers. 11 Goals in 20 games against them in his career so far. Averages 4 shots a game against them. Doing well on the road this year.
