7 games yesterday had two tips and went 1-1.
Had the Lightning to beat the Canucks and they did 4-2. Kucherov returned after missing 2 games and he scored and added 2 assists and Point had 2 and 2.
Also had the Devils to win in regulation but the Avalanche came ready here winning 4-0.
Jackets had a big win over the Jets 4-1, the Isles took 13 shots and beat the Sens 4-2. Kraken beat the Rangers 7-5 with Wright scoring his 6th goal in 8 games.
3 games tonight.
Blackhawks vs Rangers
Rangers played last night and lost to the Kraken in a high scoring game. They are 3-7 in last 10 and 7-6-1 last 10.
The Blackhawks have struggled all season and it’s no different right now as they are on a 5 game losing skid, 2-7-1 last 10 and 4-9-2 on the road.
Rangers are still somewhat in a slump going 2-7 in last 9. Hawks have both of their goalies on IR so they are going with Soderblom who hasn’t been good this season.
No confidence in either team so have to pass.
Wings vs Sabres
I really don’t think I can make a play on this game.
The Wings are having a hard time scoring goals and it’s killing them. They have lost 5 in a row, are 3-4-3 in last 10 and 5-6-2 away from Detroit.
The Sabres have gone 3-5-2 in last 10, are on a 6 game losing skid and are 6-8-2 in Buffalo.
Just with the awful results of late I have zero faith in either team so it’s an easy skip.
Ducks vs Canadiens
Both teams are 5-4-1 in last 10. They are both in 8th place in their respective divisions.
Both are having a tough time this season.
For the Habs they must be super happy to have Laine back as he, when healthy, can be a huge piece of their offense going forward.
The Ducks are without Zegras but I’m starting to wonder if injuries are going to determine the amount of success he is going to have. I’ve seen him do some incredible shit with the puck but last season he was limited to 31 games and now he’s back on the IR.
Looking at the stats and this is actually a close game. Canadiens are favored and would need to take them in regulation which I’m not doing .
L. Raymond for Red wings
N. Foligno for Blackhawks
A. Killorn for ducks
All to score
Had a big win yesterday, but of course I dident post it here. I had Seattle -1, Lighting -1 and Islanders -1
Its hard to predict winners today out of the 3 games. If I had to pick I would say draw in Sabres game and Sabres ML, draw in Rangers game and Blackhawks ML and Ducks -1
What u think about Cowboys tonight?
Definite L
The Cowboys are getting past the time when hamstrung by a long list of injuries, but that’s still in transition. They’ve scored much more recently, so my take on this game is the Full Game OVER 50. That’s a score that fits the matchup and the two team current situations. Plus it’s an indoor stadium.
Rangers in regulation -145
I felt this was a value play when I made it. Looking back it’s not really. Just felt that way I guess based on just how overpriced the Rangers price always is.
With that said I’m still fine with the play. Rangers have put up the goals last two games and that “should” continue tonight. Shesterkin in net. Rangers had a lot of good moments vs Kraken and ruined it with some terrible play in between. Fixing that and playing a complete game is doable.
As bad as the loss was yesterday I’ll try not to over react to it. Rangers owe it to themselves to put in a full effort tonight. If that happens they should win this game comfortably. If not the Rangers have some real issues and should hit the panic button.
Buffalo Thompson to score +150
Rangers Panarin to score +140
Considered Kreider at +170 so Panarin was kind of a toss up.
Shesterkin in net really caught my eye but I’m not yet ready to put money on the Rangers. I want to see them rise above their worst consistently.
Yeah Quick started the first game of the back to back and played the whole game.
Don’t blame you for wanting to wait until they actually prove they can turn it around. That would be the smart thing to do lol. I told myself I would do the same and actually held up to it for awhile there. But maybe just the small card of three games today and the level of opponent lead me to break my rule for today.
I’m still not ready to take them against a top team or even a fringe contender. But at home vs Chicago off a loss? I dunno, this felt like a borderline must win spot, or things will get real ugly.
I can’t find a way to predict anything about these six teams which are all playing poorly right now. Sides, O/U, props, zilch.
I heard an interesting chat on sports radio this morning, about the Rangers. They’ve had quite a few coach changes in recent years, and when the coaching made the fewest changes to how the team played, and the lines, the team did best, great in fact. When coaching made progressively more changes, the team played progressively worse. These days, the Rangers can’t find a groove. A lot of teams are horrid right now, they can’t find functioning lines, it’s like they never practice together, or that they haven’t practiced since being called up to the NHL. I’ve suspected for years that coaches forcing their own arbitrary methods and changes on how a team functions, may often be VERY harmful to the team, and the coach may not have a good read on the players, nor care, as long as “do it my way, I’m a big deal, I have power, I am a bald GOD in a suit on TV!” is going on and they haven’t been fired yet. Some owners and GMs are most satisfied with looks, empty posturing and standard ticket sales volume, rather than trying to support winning. Soooooooo many teams come to mind when it comes to the topic of counter-productive owners and GMs.
