A rare 0-3 yesterday, as things just didn’t go our way. Of course they didn’t go our way in that “variance has decided to kick you in the balls today” way, where it feels like no matter what we tipped it would’ve ended up 0-3.
We double dipped with the Blackhawks who went up 1-0 early in the 1st against the Jets. Chicago dominated them with 18 shots in the 1st to 2, and 9 to 4 in the 2nd. So of course Winnipeg run out 3-1 winners with 3 goals in the 3rd period.
We then lost with the Red Wings in regulation. Detroit had both a 3-1 and 4-2 lead, and managed to blow both as the Panthers took the game to overtime, where they ran out winners.
That’s hockey for you.

Stars vs Avs: Stars to win in Regulation
This is a game I’m looking forward to. These 2 teams have already played 4 times this season, with 3 3-2 results and a 6-2 win for the Avs. Always exciting games.
The odds of the Stars winning are already nice – 1.76. But I like to squeeze value and 2.25 odds on the Stars winning in regulation is something I can’t pass up. Dalls are playing some damn good hockey at the moment, and what’s scary is how good their defense has been the last few games.

Sharks vs Kings: Sharks to Win
As much as I’d like to take San Jose in regulation here – LA are a terrific matchup for them and it will be tight. LA are on a bad run while Sharks are hot, but this isn’t an easy game for San Jose.
1.64 odds on the Sharks to win overall so we’ll go with the short odds pick here.

Aww, come on guys. No o/u tips for today? Perhaps overs in Col/Car, Buf/Pit, and maybe Edm/Van? Unders in Bos/NYI & LA/SJ? Those are just my gut feelings…
Yeah were’t feeling any today. I’d probably go with Islanders/Bruins and Canes/Blue Jackets over, and Oilers/Canucks under.
I ended up going with Col/Car over (loss), Penguins -1.5 (won), and LA/SJ under (won).
