Only 2 tips today. It was meant to be Graemes day to do tips but he came down with a nasty flu/fever and can’t get out of bed. I’m heading out for the day so I’ve only got time to do 2 NHL Tips.
Bruins vs Hurricanes: Hurricanes To Win
This may seem like a ridiculous tip but there are a couple of reasons behind it. The First being that the Bruins will be without Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Along with Tyler Seguin those 3 Bostons best line and without them goals will be harder to come by. And the Second and most important is the Betting Odds. For a Hurricanes Win it is 2.45 those odds are defiantly worth the risk. Carolina has had a terrible month of April and their record for the month is 0-7-0 so they would love to snap that streak tonight and avoid a season series sweep by Boston.
I think with the Bruins missing 2/3 of their best line including their leading scorer Marchand this game could be the Hurricanes best chance to end their misery. Head to [geocode id=5 and bet a Hurricanes win.
Rangers vs Islanders: Rangers to win
This is going to be a great game no matter the outcome. 2 points separate these teams with the Islanders in 7th with 46 points and the Rangers in 8th with 44. Whoever wins this game will deal a huge blow to either teams playoffs chances. The Rangers are playing some good hockey lately going 4-1-1 in their last six games and would love to tie the Isles with a win tonight. The Islanders have surprised a lot of people this season with their success.
But the Rangers are hungry for a playoff spot and this is against a team who some believe has over achieved this season. I think that the Rangers experience will carry them to a win in this game over a still young Isles squad and in the end to the playoffs.
