Happy Easter to everyone who reads this. I’m not sure what you and your family do for Easter, if anything, but I hope you enjoy yourselves and I hope your kids found all of the eggs. A rabbit hiding eggs? Makes sense to me.
We had 3 tips yesterday and we went 1-2.
We won with our tip of the Devils in regulation against the Islanders and they did 4-3. The Isles got this close, scoring with less than 5 minutes left but the Devils held on for the win.
We had the Leafs – Jets game to go over 6.5 but the Leafs offense didn’t show up and the Jets won 3-1.
Our last tip was over 5.5 in the battle of Alberta but this one also stayed under but just barely when the Flames won 3-2.
The Panthers struggles continued when the Bruins pounded them 5-1. The Panthers have now lost 3 in a row. With the win the Bruins moved ahead of the Lightning for first place in the East. The Golden Knights clinched the Pacific Division with their win over the Sharks. What an incredible story they have been.
You folks are stuck with me for the remainder of the regular season as Graeme is off to New Orleans to watch Wrestlemania. A slow day with only 5 games.
Predators vs Lightning Betting Tips:
This could be a preview of the Stanley Cup finals. The Preds are in 1st place in the West and the league. The Lightning got passed by the Bruins and are now in 2nd in the East but are only one point behind Boston
The Lightning snapped out of their offensive funk in their last game when they scored 7 times in the final two periods in their game against the Rangers. I expect that to carry over into this game.
The last time these teams played each other it was the Lightning winning 4-3. I think with both teams at the top of the standings they will both be ready for this game.

The Bruins are flying right now. They are in first in the Atlantic and have gone 5-0-3 over their last 8 games. They took control yesterday and looked incredible.
The Flyers are chasing the Jackets for 3rd in the Metro. They are currently in the 1st wildcard spot and their next 3 games are against 3 teams eliminated from the playoffs.
With the Bruins being underdogs here we have to take them. And with the way they have been playing it’s an easy pick.
