We went 1-1 with the tips yesterday.
The first tip was the Avalanche -1.5 against the Coyotes if Grubauer started. Grubauer got the start and the win when the Avs won 9-3. Donskoi scored a hat trick in the 1st period and Grubauer picked up his league leading 22nd win. This was the first home game for the Avalanche where they had fans in the seats and they gave them a show. They even got to throw their hats on the ice in the 1st period.
The other tip was the Golden Knights to win in regulation against the Kings but the Kings scored twice in the 1st and never trailed when they won 4-2. Lias Andersson had been playing in the minors but returned to the Kings in his first game since February 16th and scored.
Huge news for Sabres fans. Their team snapped their 18 game losing streak when they beat the Flyers 6-1. It had to happen at some point but to be the team that finally lost to the Sabres has to hurt and I wonder how the Flyers will respond. I mean it wasn’t a zamboni driver in net but it still has to sting.
Speaking of losing to a zamboni driver, The Maple Leafs beat the Jets 3-1. Matthews scored his league leading 24th goal and Jack Campbell won again and is now 7-0 this season.
The Sharks beat the Wild 4-2 to sweep the two game series against Minnesota.
Nothing like waking up on April 1st to see snow. I think that crazy broad Mother Nature is pulling a prank on us.

Canadiens vs Senators
This seems like a game where I could be making a terrible call but I feel that it’s worth it.
The Sens haven’t played in a week and get to take on a team that they have had success against this season.
The Canadiens picked up a win after they came back from their stoppage.
They have played each other 5 times this season with the Sens winning 3 of them. The Sens are a shit team on the road going 4-14-0 but at home have gone 8-6-4 and perform so much better in Ottawa.
With the Sens rested and at home against one of the few teams they have had success against I am going to take them in this one. This is a game where I wouldn’t be surprised if you disagree with me. The odds are really good for this too.

Preds big home underdogs, wut?
Dallas seems to lose confidence after OT losses lately and lose in reg the next game.. Preds on a 6 game winning streak.
Im aware betting streaking teams against desperate teams isn’t simple, but this seems like a good spot to make a play.
