We didn’t have any tips for yesterdays action. But it was still a great night of hockey as the season is quickly coming to an end.
The Panthers picked up a much needed 2-1 victory against the Predators but the ending to this game was crazy controversial. The Preds looked to score with less than a second left in the game. But this got taken to the war room in Toronto and after a discussion there it was called no goal due to goalie interference. I’ve watched this goal plenty of times and the “interference” is debatable. Either way it was a huge win for the Panthers who now have 3 games left to make the playoffs. They are only back 4 points. This is going to be a crazy finish. Two of their remaining games are against the Bruins, the other the Sabres.
The Flyers lost 5-4 to the Islanders. The Isles were up 4-1 after 2 periods and the Flyers scored 3 unanswered in the 3rd to tie the game. But Barzal scored 30 seconds after that third goal and the Isles held on for the win.
The Devils beat the Rangers 5-2 and moved ahead of the Flyers in the standings and 1 point behind the Penguins and the Jackets. Going to be fun to see how this Metro division finishes up.
A slow night with only 3 games. Of the 3 games I could only come up with 1 tip.
Blackhawks vs Blues Betting Tips:
The Blackhawks have been struggling for a while now. And thats not going to get any easier for them in this game against a rival who’s fighting to get into the playoffs.
The Blues are in 9th place in the West and only 1 point behind the Avalanche for the 8th and final wildcard spot. They have beat the Hawks the last two times they played. They have lost three straight and need to fix this and now if they want to make the playoffs. This is the first of a home and home series against Chicago.
But with the way the Hawks have been playing and Toews will again miss this game, the Blues need to take advantage of this on home ice.
