The Red Wings scored 3 goals in 2:53 in the 2nd and beat the Lightning 5-1. This was the first road win for the Wings against the Lightning in almost 6 years.
The Capitals beat the Devils 5-4 completing the sweep of their 8 game series this season. Ovechkin scored on the powerplay in the 2nd which was his 256th career powerplay goal which has him tied for 2nd all-time with Brett Hull and 9 behind Dave Andreychuk for 1st.
The Panthers shutout the Blue Jackets 3-0. This was the Panthers 6th straight win and moved them into 1st place in the Central Divison. Mrazek started for the Hurricanes for the first time in 2 months and shutout the Stars 1-0. He has played in only 5 games this season and has 3 shutouts.
The Coyotes beat the Ducks 3-2 in overtime and the Maple Leafs beat the Flames 4-2. Matthews scored his league leading 25th of the season.

We haven’t had a lot of luck with overs but I’m going with it here.
They have played each other 5 times this season and 4 have gone over. They are in 4th and 5th in the East Divison but the Flyers are tied with the Rangers and have a game in hand so this is a big game for both teams. The Flyers can’t be the team the lost to the Sabres as their defining moment this season.
Again we haven’t had much luck when backing the overs this season but there is enough data to suggest that this one will go over.
