We lost our tip yesterday.
We had the Golden Knights to beat the Blues in regulation but it was the Blues who won 3-1. The win snapped the Blues losing skid at 7 game. Binnington was amazing picking up 50 saves in the win. Looking back I feel we made the right call going with the Knights but these things happen.
The Maple Leafs beat the Canadiens 3-2 and Campbell got the win to set a new Leafs franchise record for consecutive wins with 10. If you’re a Leafs fan I hope you have at least one Campbell jersey by now.
McDavid and Draisaitl both had 4 points when the Oilers beat the Senators 4-2. The Wild beat the Avalanche 8-3 and the loss stopped the Avs point streak at 16 games. Kevin Fiala scored his first career hat trick in the win.
The Kings beat the Coyotes 4-3. The Coyotes were up 3-1 after the 2nd period but the Kings scored 3 unanswered in the 3rd to complete the come from behind win.
The Islanders made a big move yesterday acquiring forwards Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac from the New Jersey Devils in exchange for a 2021 first-round pick, a conditional 2022 fourth-round pick and some prospects. The Isles are only 3 points behind the Leafs for top spot in the league and this move is really going to help them moving forward.
For today we have a pile of games with 11 scheduled. Although the Canucks game is sure to be canceled with 21 players and 4 staff members testing positive for Covid.

Flyers vs Islanders
The Isles made a huge move and the team is going to respond to this is a good way. They moved picks and prospects and have the same roster they had before the trade but now have two new pieces.
The Flyers have lost their last 3 games against the Isles and have lost 7 of their last 10 games. The Islanders have been a great home team this season going 16-1-2.
With the move they made they are telling the league that they are ready to climb the standings and do some damage in the playoffs and that starts today.
