The 2019 Stanley Cup Finals are proving to be good ones, and it really is anyones game.
2 days after getting absolutely humiliated in Game 3, the St. Louis Blues bounced back. An impressive 4-2 victory over the Bruins and they really stepped up the pressure.
Scott had the over in that one and Graeme had the Blues so it was a nice little betting day for us.
It’s now Thursday, June 6th and we’re back in Boston. These two teams have been trading wins. Is that going to happen now?
The Bruins will most likely be playing without Chara although that isn’t 100% confirmed yet. They mave have Matt Grzelcyk back too.
Scott:
With the series now back in Boston the Bruins cant let the Blues win this game. If they do then the series moves back to St Louis for game 6 with the Blues needing only 1 win.
The teams have traded wins up to this point so its the Bruins turn. The Bruins should be ready for this game and winning it will give them 2 chances to win the Cup with game 7 being in Boston

Graeme: The last two games when it came to betting, I felt it was generally easy. Was able to correctly call the Bruins in Game 3 and then the Blues in Game 4.
I’ve honestly no clue going into this one.
Like I said I feel like the Blues are better when their backs are against the wall. When they’re under pressure overall and need a win. That’s the case here. However it’s hard not to see Boston bounce back. The Chara injury might be a big factor at this stage of the game though.
Blues are a good price, but I can’t quite convince myself to take them.
Both Bruins wins have gone over, 3 of the 4 have gone over and I think the Bruins will be up for this and will be scoring the goals. Betting the over is a risk because of the two goalies involved but it’s a juicy price at around 2.30 and I’m good with a small bet on that.
