The Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues had a hell of a thrilling game last night that went to overtime. The Blues finally won there to tie it up 1-1 and take the series home. They will be two interesting games.
The Sharks go up 2-0 as the Predators pounted the Sharks net but the Sharks came out victors 3-2 in a well deserved victory. That was a good one.
Tonight we have just 1 game as the Penguins take on the Capitals in Game 3 of their series. This one will take place in Pittsburgh.
Capitals vs Penguins
Scott: The Penguins held the Caps to 10 shots through the first 2 periods and held their offense to only one goal in the 2-1 win. Tonight the Pens will be without Maatta and the Caps without Orpik. With 2 top defensemen missing, the Pens at home and the Caps looking to get their offense rolling again I can see this game being a high scoring one.
Over 5
Graeme: The last game in Pittsburgh between these two saw the Penguins win 6-2. That was a hell of a game. Honestly with the way these two play, the offenses they have and the fact that a couple of defenders are missing – Over 5 goals just seems the smart play here. I can’t see me picking one team to beat the other during this series as they’re both so close.

Im not sure what to think about tonights game. Pens are strong, but you’d have to think the Caps have learned something after two games, Pens have been the better team so far which wasn’t entirely unexpected after the Caps struggled with the Flyers.
Honestly i see one win con. for the Caps tonight and that’s Braden Holtby. He absolutely has to come up big and the way he’s playing i can very well see it happening. Caps have to be efficient and just do what it takes to win without being fancy, as yet again i see the Pens being the better team in this one.
This is a very crucial game.. If the Caps can steal this game i see them playing their best game of the series in game 4 and at that point it’s all about avoiding losing 3 in a row. But they have to be able to score goals or otherwise it’s going to be a frustrating series for them.
I can’t go for over/under, as my mind is set on low scoring game after Holtby comes up big, and if that doesn’t go as planned there’s going to be goals. But i can’t see the Caps winning & the game being high scoring.
Going to give Caps ML a shot as their odds are pretty good.
I agree, going to follow your tip!
I agree with the over 5… its hard to back the pittsburgh penguins for the moneyline even if I do think they will win but I also have the feeling that washington will steal one so… hard to know … just going for goals… last game could have easily got a push but murray was very good
lets go pens
Going with over as well.
