We had 3 tips yesterday but due to some late breaking news you may have only went with 2 of them. So it was a 1-1 night or a 2-1 night depending on your decision.
Our win was the tip of the Jets -1.5 against the Red Wings. It was tied 1-1 late in the 2nd period when the Jets scored 3 times in 2 minutes. They added another in the 3rd and won 5-1.
We went with over 6.5 in the Battle of Florida game but this game was an unusually low one between these teams with the Lightning winning 2-1.
The final tip we had was the Stars to win in regulation against the Devils. The Stars won 2-0. After we had posted the tips the news came out that the Stars had fired their head coach Jim Montgomery. I am still not sure what happened and why he was let go. Benn and Seguin both said the same thing to the media that they were shocked and unsure as to why it happened. I’m sure its only a matter of time until we find out the reasoning.
After a busy night we come back to a slower night with only 3 games. I couldn’t find anything to tip tonight. Be sure to discuss in the comments and post your picks
Game Thoughts:
Bruins vs Capitals: This should be a good game between the #1 in the Atlantic Bruins vs the #1 in the Metro Capitals. The Caps have had the Bruins number over the last 10 meetings going 9-1 but Boston has proven this year that they are a team that can’t be taken lightly.
Senators vs Canadiens: This is usually a game where we would say the Over but with the way both teams have played this season its really anyone’s guess as to how this one plays out.
Flyers vs Avalanche: The Flyers are without Konecny here and hes a huge part of that teams success. The odds heavily favor the Avalanche but I cant back them as something tells me this is a trap.
