We went 1-1 with the tips last night.
Both Tips were for the Blue Jackets- Canucks game. We had the Jackets in regulation and over 5. The over came through when the Jackets beat the Canucks 4-3 in OT. This was the 9th straight win for the Jackets and they tied their team record with that win and also the 500th win for John Tortorella.
The Rangers beat the Devils 3-2 in a shootout. With the win Lundqvist now has 389 wins over his career which has him tied with Hasek for 12th on the all time wins list. By the end of his career Lundqvist will be in the top 5 for wins.
The Sens beat the Islanders 6-2. The Isles are now in last place in the East and ahead of only the Coyotes and Avalanche overall. I didn’t see this coming and thankfully for them there is still time left to turn things around but they have lots of work to do.

Ducks vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
The Leafs seem to have the edge when these teams play each other. Over the last 10 games between them the Leafs are 8-1-1.
Over those 10 games there is an average of 6.40 goals per game. And on the year these teams are scoring with the Ducks ranked 11th with 2.81 gpg and the Leafs 9th with 2.83.
I would like to take the Leafs in this game but I don’t have enough confidence in making that a tip. I do like this to be a high scoring game though so that’s what the tip is going to be.

Oilers vs Blues Betting Tips:
It’s McDavid vs Tarasenko, the #1 and #2 scoring leaders on the year.
The Oilers have had a good year offensively averaging 2.88 gpg. But after having a great October, losing only twice, they have had a rough November and December.
The Blues can also score averaging 2.81 gpg and have had a decent season so far which has them in 3rd in the Central.
There has been an average of over 6 goals when these teams play each over their last 10 meetings so I like this game to be a high scoring one.

5.5 goals total in the game. 3-2 you lose anything above you win like 3-3 that’s 6 goals total.
You are absolutely right. In Oilers-Blues game, the 3-way option (without OT/SO) is Over5 @2,20, so it seems much better.

In the blues game, you lost either you bet on Over 5,5 (incl OT/SO) or Over 5(3-way). If you bet Over5 (3-way) and there are 5 goals after 3 periods, you have your stake back. That’s what I said.
What sportsbook are you talking about? Because the majority(as in 95%+) if you bet “Over 5” on the 3-way bet and it’s exactly 5 goals at the end of regulation it’s a loss. Only in a 2 way market including overtime/shootout is it a push. Because on a 3-way you have 3 options: Over, Under and Exactly 5. If Exactly 5 wins, both the over and under lose.
Yes, you are right, in the majority of the sportsbooks that is true. I haven’t understood what exactly the dude meant. Anyway, the odds are way better if you bet on over5 (3-way) instead of betting on Over5,5 (including OT/SO), that was what I initially meant.
Over 5.5 goals including OT/SO and Over 5 in the 3-way will have the same odds.
You’re correct. We just got yelled at previously for not clarifying if a tip included OT/SO or not so figure we’d cover our bases.

Last night i’ve got nice profit on Bhawks. My problem about tonight game are Canes – like I said before they look solid as a home team. They won against good teams at home. Wings are gonna be boosted cuz of this last 6-4 game with Ducks and also like u said the away games history
In a Leafs – Ducks it’s easier to pick a winner (for me). I think Ducks will want to bounce-back after this 6-4 lost. Leafs it’s a good opportunity to do this – simple as it is Ducks are more solid than them. Perry is playing well and Rakell also.
Im feeling that Ducks ML is a very safety pick for tonight.

What’s everyone’s opinion on the Ducks ML? I think there is some good value on them and they should be motivated after blowing a lead against Detroit.
I went 1-0 last night (Only have the live pick) – I think tonight it’s pretty tough to get some “safe” bets.
> Blues in regulation look good to me. They’re good at home and want that win after the loss vs the Hawks (maybe OVER 5.5)

Why do so many seem to like Detroit tonight? Has there been something that has happened that I’m not aware of? They are an awful hockey team and Carolina has been resilient all year.
I wouldn’t say they’re awful, they’ve played well at times this year but overall have been pretty average. I could see this game going either way, but I would give a slight advantage to Carolina as they’ve been very solid at home this year.
Wings are a bottom 5 team this year. That roster isn’t very good and now when you factor in some of the injuries they have (Helm, Smith, Abdelkader) I don’t see it with them. Plus if this game goes to extra time, Jimmy Howard is the worst goalie I have ever seen in the shootout.
