A 1-1 night last night for a slight loss to wrap up November.
We won with the Flames over the Kings. I backed the Flames largely due to Mike Smith but they could have put a crash test dummy in net and still won as the Kings only racked up 14 shots on the Flames.
The hot Avalanche came undone at home to the Blues in a surprise. St. Louis got off to a huge start going up 2-0. Avs were able to tie it up but lost in OT. O’Reilly was on fire in that game.
Buffalo fought hard after their winning streak ended and got a point but it wasn’t enough as the Panthers won it in OT.
Senators vs Sharks Betting Tips:
The matinee game is a rather notable one as Mr Erik Karlsson returns to town.
So we’ve got two teams with some motivation. Ottawa will no doubt want to get the win while Karlsson and his boys will want it too.
Ottawa offensively and defensively have enough to put this game over regardless of that fact. Sharks should be big time motivated especially with their recent results.
One issue is the Sharks defense can turn up randomly. But with these two motivated teams – regardless of the line – I think I’ve got to go over. And you know taking the betting aspect out of it – I really hope this game is a good one. Lot of hype going into it.

Blue Jackets vs Islanders Betting Tips:
A big game here as the Islanders return to Nassau Coliseum.
You’ve got to assume they’re going to be up for this one and ready to put on a show. Which is perfect as the Blue Jackets are great for going toe to toe with teams but have their own defensive issues.
Gotta expect a big offensive performance here from both teams.

Leafs vs Wild Betting Tips:
Auston Matthews returned to Toronto and they put in a great performance as the Leafs beat the Sharks 5-3.
I’ve got to think there will be a similar performance here between two top teams battling it out. We’ve seen that a lot with these sort of teams – they’re out to prove a point against potential Stanley Cup contenders.
Andersen and Dubnyk are both goalies who can of course show up and change a game. Games between these two have been notoriously low scoring and both are top 10 in regard to GAA.
But I like this to be a battle,

For the record, games that were close to a pick but we didn’t pull the trigger on was Habs in regulation, Stars to win incl OT/SO, and either Pens to win in regulation or over in that game. Just a big question mark on the Flyers offense.
