Hey everyone. We had 1 tip yesterday and we went 0-1.
I had the Caps to win in regulation against the Wings but it needed OT for the Caps to win it 4-3. It wasn’t for the Caps lack of trying here as they outshot the Wings 42-19 but Husso kept them in it. It sucks but it happens.
The Bruins beat the Panthers 7-3 in a lopsided game. Bergeron had 2 goals and 2 assists for the Bruins. The Preds beat the Oilers 4-3 in OT. The Sabres beat the Knights 3-2 and the Habs beat the Coyotes 3-2 on OT.
Another night with 8 games.
Rangers vs Penguins
The Rangers are on a 7 game win streak and scored 7 times in their last game against the Hawks with goals from 7 different players. Yes the Hawks aren’t exactly a big win for them but during this streak they have also beat the Leafs, Devils, Avs and Knights.
The Pens lost their last game but before were on their own 7 game win streak.
The Rangers will be looking to push their win streak to 8 games but the Pens know they are right behind them in the standings so this should be a good game. But I have to skip
Jackets vs Flyers
Ya I’m skipping this one.
Lightning vs Leafs
Two teams high in the Atlantic standings.
The Leafs are in 2nd with a 19-7-6 record and the Lightning are 3rd going 20-9-1.
The Leafs are on a 2 game losing skid but before that they had a point in 15 straight games. The Lightning have won 5 games in a row.
8 of the last 10 games these teams have played each other, including the playoffs last season, has gone over. They played once this season and the Lightning won 4-3 in OT.
With the Over/Under at 6 I think it’s worth going with the Over here.

Devils vs Hurricanes
This is going to be a good game between the two teams tied for first place in the Metro Divison.
They both have 44 points but the Devils have 2 more wins than the Canes.
The Devils have lost 5 straight and the Hurricanes have won their last 5 and are on an 11 game point streak.
The Devils will be coming off a twos rest after playing four games in six nights. This will be the Canes fourth game in six days.
With first place in the Metro on the line this is tough to predict and I’m skipping.
Senators vs Jets
The Sens lost their last game but before that they had won 4 straight.
The Jets have had a decent season so far and have gone 20-10-1 which has them in 2nd in the Central.
Hellebuyck is expected to get the start and he has been great this season and any time he starts he gives the Jets a chance.
But the Sens have been playing well and have shown that they can be a pain in the ass to play.
I would lean towards the Jets to win but no enough confidence to make it a tip.
Blues vs Kraken
The Blues have won 4 in a row including last night where they beat the Canucks 5-1 thanks to Kyrou and his hat trick.
The Kraken have gone 2-5 over their last 7 and are at home where they have gone 8-6-2.
The Kraken are a tough team to predict. They started the month on a 7 game win streak only to lose 3 in a row.
They played once this season and the Blues won 4-3 in OT. With the Blues on a 4 game win streak I want to take them but the Kraken are at home and looking to get out of this funk they are on.
Ducks vs Kings
Both teams are on 2 game win streaks.
3 of the Kings last 4 games have needed extra time so I’m not comfortable taking them so I have to skip.
Flames vs Sharks
The 5th place Flames vs the 7th place Sharks.
The played a couple of days ago and the Flames won 5-2.
The Flames have gone 4-6-4 on the road and the Sharks have gone 3-9-5 at home.
Both teams are averaging 3 goals a game and are tied for 21st place. The Flames beat them in some key stats though like shots on goal, goals allowed and shots allowed so I have to think just they have a good shot to win this one. Plus the Sharks Hertl was suspended for 2 games after he high-sticked Lindholm in the last game.
