There ended up being only one game yesterday as the 2nd game got postponed.
The Stars beat the Wild 7-4. It was a close game until the 3rd where the Stars put up 3 more for the win.
“The NHL and NHLPA agreed to pause the 2021-22 season from Dec. 22 to Dec. 25. Teams must suspend all operations and will not practice or be tested during those days. Facilities will be reopened Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. local time.”
So today is the last day before the extended Christmas break. There are 2 games scheduled.
Capitals vs Flyers Betting Tips:
Each team has 3 players on the Covid protocol list. With so many players on the list from this game I wouldn’t be surprised if it is postponed so I’ll stay away from it.
Lightning vs Golden Knights Betting Tips:
A game with no players in the Covid protocol list.
The Lightning have won 2 in a row and have gone 7-2-1 over their last 10. The Knights are on fire right now winning 5 straight and 8-2 over their last 10 games.
The Knights are the favorites for this game as they have that winning streak and are at home. But the Lightning are no pushovers and they could end the Knights win streak and I wouldn’t be surprised.
I am skipping this game as it’s a tough one to call. I really wanted to have a tip for this game as there won’t be any hockey or Tips for a little bit. But if there was a tip it would be forced and that’s no way to gamble.
With there being no games until after Christmas, we hope everyone has a great Christmas and Happy Holidays. Let’s hope that the league, and the world really, gets things under control. Be sure to spend as much quality time with loved ones as you can as thats the meaning of Christmas in my opinion.
See you guys in a few days.
Happy Holidays NHL lovers!
and fuck Covid
I can’t imagine how any team or player could care less about today’s games, apart from using them as aerobic workouts, so in such a situation, just before a break, maybe consider the “tie in regulation” for both games, but it’s nuts to bet anything more than play money today. All the sports are in COVID craziness. No player wants the virus and no player wants useless meaningless injuries right now either.
Merry Christmas and a healthy holidays. Please consider giving to local food banks, and charities supporting the less fortunate out there who could use assistance today.
