Only had 1 tip yesterday and it was a win.
I has the Predators to win in regulation against the Blackhawks and they did . The game was tied at 2 after the 2nd but the Preds scored twice in the 3rd and won 4-2.
The Devils were down 2-1 after the 2nd but scored 3 times in the 3rd to win 4-2. The win snapped their losing skid at 6 games.
The Lightning showed up for the game against the Wings but so did the Wings who won 7-4.
The Avs got by the Habs but this was a close game with the Avs winning 2-1 in OT.
Another 8 games tonight.
Flyers vs Leafs
Over the last 10 games the Flyers are 3-5-2 and the Leafs 7-2-1.
The Leafs score more goals, allow less, take more shots on goal and limit opponents to less shots and are at home where they have gone 12-2-3.
The last 4 games between these teams dating back to 2021 saw the Leafs win all 4 and all 4 covered the spread. Of their wins in December all would cover the spread except one, the Flames OT win for them.
If the Leafs are to win this game, which is highly likely, than they should cover the spread.

Islanders vs Rangers
The Isles are 5th and the Rangers 4th in the Metro.
The Isles have won 4 of the last 5 games against the Rangers.
I usually like these games to go over but both teams are in the top 10 in goals allowed per game.
But it’s the Battle of New York and most times we can throw all stats and results out the window as this game means a lot to both teams.

Hurricanes vs Penguins
The have played twice this season, including last Sunday, and the Canes have won both but both were one goal decisions and one needed OT.
The Canes are in 1st, tied again with the Devils. The Pens are in 3rd and only 4 points back of the division lead.
This should be a good game but not one I have a tip for.
Jets vs Bruins
The Bruins have won the last 4 games against the Jets going back to 2020.
The Jets are 7-3 in last 10 games and the Bruins are 7-1-2.
The Bruins still haven’t lost in regulation in Boston so they should have the edge but the Jets have been playing some good hockey and could make a game of this.
I would have to take the Bruins in regulation and it should come through but again if the Jets start Hellebuyck than this could be a close one.
Capitals vs Senators
The Caps are on a 2 game win streak and the Sens a 2 game losing skid.
They played back in October and the Sens won that one 5-2.
The Caps road record is 7-8-3 and the Sens home record is 8-8. They are fairly close in all major stats with the Sens scoring more and the Caps allowing less.
Either team has great home or away records so I’m skipping.
Kraken vs Canucks
The Kraken have won their last 2 games and the Canucks have lost their last 2.
Kraken on the road are 9-4-1 and the Canucks at home are 5-9-1. They played in October and the Canucks won 5-4.
The Kraken are 6th in GPG and the Canucks 10th, Kraken are 17th in GAPG and the Canucks are 30th.
With both teams 5-5 over last 10 I feel better to skip this game.
Wild vs Sharks
The played last month and the Sharks won 3-2 in a shootout.
The Wild are on a 6 game win streak and the Kings have lost their last 3.
At home the Sharks are 3-10-5, on the road the Wild are 8-5-1.
The Wild are ranked better than the Sharks in GPG, GAPG, shots on goal and shots allowed so all signs point to a Wild win. All 6 of the Wilds win on this streak were in regulation so I see that continuing.

Flames vs Kings
The played back in November and the Flames won 6-5.
The Kings are on a 2 game win steak and the Kings have won their last 3.
Both teams are playing well at the moment so this game could go either way
I would give the slight edge to the Kings with them at home but not confident enough to make it a tip.
