A great day of hockey yesterday and we went 2-1 with the tips
We had the Sharks vs Sens game to go over 6.5 and it did when the Sens won 6-2 in Karlssons return to Ottawa. This looked like we may be losing this tip but 2 goals in the last 2 minutes gave us the over. Karlsson had no points, 9 shots and played almost 25 minutes. The had a nice video tribute to Karlsson during the first period and, judging by the fans, there is no hard feelings
Our other win was the Over 6 in the Leafs vs Wild game and the Leafs won 5-3. Kadri broke the tie with just over 3 minutes left and they added and empty net goal at the end too.
We had over 6 in the Blue Jackets vs Islanders game but this one missed out as the Isles won 3-2 staying under 6.
And the Willy Nylander drama is over. Toronto and Nylander agreed to a 6 year $6.9 million deal. The Leafs still have lots of cap space left but next year is going to be tricky. Matthews, Marner and Kapanen will be coming off of their entry level deals and will be getting paid a crazy amount of money and also Jake Gardiner will need a new deal. Dubas is going to have his work cut out for him managing the cap and not losing any of their young stars.
We have a decent Sunday with 6 games and thanks to their start times we will have about 10 hours of hockey to enjoy. I could only come up with one tip. The odds aren’t very good today.
Flames vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
Flames have moved into 1st in the Pacific thanks to a 5-1-1 run over their last 7 games. The Hawks are still struggling going 3-7-2 since Colliton took over as coach.
The Flames last 3 games had totals of 4, 7 and 7. The Hawks cant keep the puck out of their net with their last 6 games hitting at least 6.
With the way both teams are playing I would lean towards the Flames winning and the odds would agree with me but I am going to go with the Over instead.
