6 games yesterday and we had 1 tip which came through for us.
We had the Rangers to win in regulation against the Flyers and they did 4-1. This was the Rangers 4th consecutive win and for the Flyers this was their 7th loss in a row.
We had said that we would take the Oilers to win if DeSmith got the start for the Penguins. Jarry started so we had no tip for this game but the Oilers won 5-2.
The Leafs pounded the Avalanche 8-3. The Avs left Jonas Johansson in for all 8 goals. Matthews shaved off his mustache and scored a hat trick.
The Canucks beat the Sens 6-2 which was the 6th straight loss for Ottawa. The Red Wings beat the Kraken 4-3 in a shootout and the Ducks beat the Knights 6-5.
For today we have 10 games.
Avalanche vs Canadiens Betting Tips:
The Avs will be looking to bounce back here. Last night’s effort wasn’t very good and they will need to adjust to get back on track.
MacKinnon will now have a game under his belt so he will be better prepared for this game. The Avs have shown that they are a good bounce back team. The Habs are at home where they have gone 4-7-1 so not a huge boost for them there.
With MacKinnon back and the team looking to bounce back, I like the Avs here.

Bruins vs Predators Betting Tips:
The Bruins are having some Covid issues at the moment and Marchand is suspended.
The Preds are coming into this game after the clinic that Forsberg put on last game. The will have the momentum on their side in this one.
With the Bruins without Marchand and the Preds flying after their last game we will take them to win this one.

Devils vs Wild Betting Tips:
The Wild are playing great at the moment winning 4 in a row. The Devils have gone 4-4-2 over last 10.
With the Wild playing great right now and scoring a bunch, over the 4 game win streak they have scored 3,7,4 and 5, it seems like a good time to take them in regulation at home where they have gone 8-2 this season.

Sharks vs Islanders Betting Tips:
The Isles got cleared to resume playing. They had 2 games postponed and haven’t played since November 26th.
The Isles have lost 7 straight games and are at home where they have yet to pick up a win. I want to wait and see how the respond to returning to action before I bet on a game they’re playing in.
Senators vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
The Sens are having a rough go right now. They have dropped 6 in a row and have gone 1-9 over their last 10.
The Canes right now are a hard to to call. They have had moments when they look incredible but right now isn’t one of them. They have lost 2 in a row and gine 5-4-1 over last 10. I’ll skip this game as it would need to be Canes -1.5 and not confident in that.
Jackets vs Stars Betting Tips:
The Stars are playing great right now. They have won 5 in a row and have gone 7-3 over last 10.
The Jackets are a team that can show up at any moment and have given teams issues this season.
Blackhawks vs Capitals Betting Tips:
The Hawks have gone 6-4 over last 10, the Caps 7-2-1.
The Caps are the favorites here and they get any value we would need to take them in at least regulation. The Hawks had three games go to extra time last month and are playing pretty good at the moment. I’ll skip this game.
Sabres vs Panthers Betting Tips:
The Panthers are heavy favorites here. And to get any value in taking them we would need to take them -1.5. Florida has been all over the place over their last 10 games going 5-3-2 so I’m avoiding this game.
Blues vs Lightning Betting Tips:
The Blues have lost 4 straight on the road. The Lightning are without Kucherov and Point and Stamkos is out with the birth of his second child. Without those three superstars I can’t back the Lightning, with the Blues road problems I can’t take them. So skipping this game
Flames vs Kings Betting Tips:
Flames have a good road streak going winning 3 in row. The Kings are a tricky team to predict. Would lean towards a Flames win but instead will just skip this game.

Dallas to win in reg. vs Blue Jackets
The Stars transformed into an absolute juggernaut at home, winning all of their last 6 games there, impressively outscoring their opponents 25 to 8, while beating some tough competition like the Canes, the Avs, the Oilers and the Blues, limiting all 4 of them to only 1 goal. Jake Oettinger is set to get the start in net and is yet to be beaten, winning all of his 4 starts, posting a stunning .959SV% and stopping 116 of 121 shots over that stretch.
The Blue Jackets lost their previous 2 road games both by 6 goals and will probably have to call up an AHL goalie, since Merzlikins and Korpisalo are both under the weather.
But even if the rookie goalie stands on his head here, they still have to outscore the Stars, which I don’t see happening. They really have nothing the Stars haven’t already seen over their home stretch and will succumb to the high energy in the American Airlines Center.
Devils vs Wild over 5,5
Not the best odds, but a very good chance to hit. Kaapo Kahkonen gets another start and extends the over streak to 5 consecutive starts and the overall over hit at home to 9 out of 10 games. I basically had the same reasoning 2 days ago, where I also picked the over which came in smoothly. To make things better though, this time it’s vs the Devils, who post a much higher offensive threat than the Coyotes do, but even they managed to put 2 behind Kahkonen, so I think the Devils can put up at least 3 in this one. Meanwhile the Wild really love scoring in front of their homecrowd, now having scored 4 or more goals in 4 consecutive and 8 out of 10 overall home games and I don’t see any reason for them to not keep it going here.
