Only the one tip yesterday and we won it.
We had the Panthers to win against the Canadiens and they did winning 2-0. Reimer had a big game stopping all 38 shots he faced in the victory. This was the Habs 4th straight loss and have only scored 3 times during this losing streak.
The Bruins won again this time beating the Sens 5-0 in a game they dominated. They had a slow start to the year but have been amazing lately going 9-1-2 over their last 12 games and Rask is a huge part of that success going 9-0-1 over his last 11 starts.
A great day of hockey for us today with 8 games spread out nicely. It’s New Years Eve so I hope everyone enjoys their night celebrating.
Maple Leafs vs Knights Betting Tips:
The Knights will be looking to extend their franchise best win streak to 7 games today. And they are returning home where they have been incredible going 15-2-1 in Vegas.
These teams played each other once already this season and it was the Leafs winning 4-3.
This is a matchup of the 3rd and 4th ranked offenses and I expect this to be a high scoring game.

The Pens have had a rough start to their season by their standards. They are 3-6 over their last 9 games.
The Red Wings are in 6th place in the Atlantic and have a pile of work left to do if they are to save this season.
The Pens will be looking to end 2017 with a win. It’s tough for them to have such a lousy year so far after winning the Stanley Cup the past two years.

Blackhawks vs Flames Betting Tips:
The Hawks Jeff Glass will be looking to show the world that his NHL debut was no fluke. He made 42 saves against the Oilers picking up the 4-3 OT win. This will be the 2nd career start for Glass and this one will be in his hometown.
The Flames are on a 3 game losing skid and haven’t been great at home on the year going 9-11-0.
With the win and performance of Glass I expect the Hawks to rally around him and come together and pick up the win in this one.

Todays thoughts:
Vegas Golden Knights – Toronto Maple Leafs (O 6.0 + Golden Nights ML)
With both Vegas and Leafs beeing in good form (except Leafs last game…) this will most likely be a high scoring game, both teams score and allow goals. The reason for picking Knights is because they’re just fantastic on home ice. They’ve shown throughout the season that they’ll never give up, if they let in an early goal they’ll fight to turn it around. No major injuries and top of the western conference, they will end 2017 with a win.
Anaheim Ducks – Arizona Coyotes (Ducks AH -1)
The Ducks have proven to get better as they got their captain back, and also getting Kesler back is a huge addition for them. They went 2-1 last match over the Flames, and that’s a game they absolutely dominated. The Yotes are bottom of the league and letting in goals like there’s no tomorrow. With the Ducks beeing just 2 points behind the Sharks and play off, I think they will be motivated to end the year with a bang and crush the Yotes. I also think over 5.5 could be a good bet in this game, since both teams let in quite a few goals per game.
Quick leans and why:
Tampa ML – Because they’ve been pretty bad lately and I’d like them to bounce back for the last game of this year. Not playing them myself though, since CBJ is doing well right now. I also have a gut feeling that the game will somehow end with less than 5.5 goals, no stats to back that up though.
Oilers – Jets over 6.0 – Two teams that score and allow goals, will probably be plenty in this game. Probably a draw, and Oilers in OT/SO.
Colorado – Islanders over 5.5 + is ML – Islanders have been playing some good hockey this season, and Avalanche has been “okey” latley, over 5.5 cause both teams will find the net a couple of times and Islanders because they’re supposed to be better.
Stars – Sharks Stars ML – Stars have proven to be solid on home ice, that’s just it. Might be worth a shot on over 5.5 if the odds are good enough.

Yup. I’m debating taking the over here as well. Fleury has been insanely good, only giving up six goals over his last four games. Plus, this should have a playoff feel to it and both teams will be tightening up and blocking shots. What do you think?

Another “+” night which helps to make up for last week’s disaster. My Bruins are bringing a compete level of 11 every night and their record shows it. When you play complete games you can win in this league. I don’t know how they’ll fare when they play the league’s best teams, but January and February should help their record with a lot of weaker teams coming up.
LVGK -130 – I have to stay with the Knights as they continue their dominance of the entire league. If you haven’t put something on them to win the division and/or conference now’s the time to do it. Plus, they might make an incredible run at the, dare I say it?, Stanley Cup? How insane would that be?
TML are decent on the road at 12-9-2 but the Knights are bank at home with a record of 15-3. A lot of the NHL’s best teams have gone down in flames in sin city and the TML are the next victim. They overcame the hapless Yotes but gave up 4 goals in the process and lost to the Avs two nights ago. They are on the last game of a grueling 5 game road trip and have to get up early to get this one over and done with so they can party tonight in Toronto. I just don’t see that they will have the focus or legs to get by a rested, confident Knights team. -130 seems like a pretty good value to me and the regulation is even better.
The other good value on the board are the Bolts ML -120 and +130 regulation over the CBJ. Along with the Knights, I think the Bolts are the most explosive team in the league. They just have so much firepower and speed and seem to bring it almost every night. Their road form is excellent at 11-6-0 and they are at or near the top in just about every offensive category and they are the 3rd best defensive team. Vasilevskiy is outstanding and has been a beast in net all season (confirmed tonight). CBJ is not a bad team but they just don’t have the depth and skill that the Bolts do. They are slumping with only 3 Ws in the last 9 games and they are without 4 regular skaters: Dubinsky, Wennberg, Murray and Cam Atkinson (we played on the same high school team…30 yrs apart). No one has really stepped up to fill the gaps. Lately they have given up a lot of goals so the defence is in disarray as well. On top of all that Bobrovsky hasn’t played well either of late. It all adds up to a pretty good situation for the Bolts to win.
I like the parlay with the Knights and the Bolts. Two of the NHL’s best teams in good situations against a team on their last road game and a banged-up team in a slump.
For a somewhat risky play I like the Isles ML -115 – I know, I know…they are terrible on the road and the Avs are good at home. I have no good reasons but I think the Isles pull out a rare road win here.
And my final bet of 2017 is Jets-Oilers over -115 – Jets are averaging 3.3 GF and Oilers are 3 GF. Jets are slightly better than Oilers in GA: 2.8 vs 3.2. Lot of goals scored against both teams in past 5 games. Jets are without Scheifele which is a significant loss but there is still plenty of firepower on the ice to get to 6+ goals.
I am not tipping it, but with Murray out for the Pens their goaltending just got a whole lot worse. Could be a place where a hungry Red Wings team steps up and steals a game from the NHL champs.
