A slow day with only 3 games but we did win our tip.
We had the Lightning to beat the Devils. I had mentioned that I wanted to take them in regulation but that the Devils and their losing streak had me a little worried. Well I didnt have to worry as the Lightning scored the first 3 goals and won 5-1. Kucherov had a goal and 3 assists and extended his point streak to 10 games.
The Predators beat the Sabres 2-1 for their 2nd straight win. After winning 10 games in a row the Sabres have now lost 3 straight.
The final game of the night was the Oilers vs the Stars and the Stars beat the Oilers 4-1. Edmonton was without McDavid and Spooner who were both sick. Oilers coach Ken Hitchcock returned to Dallas for the first time since he coached them last season.
After a slow day with only the 3 games we have 10 tonight.
Maple Leafs vs Sabres Betting Tips:
Oh the rich are about to get richer. The Leafs played well without Matthews and once he returned he didnt miss a beat scoring 3 times and adding an assist in the 2 games since returning. Now they have Nylander back so this team is deadly. He wont be playing in this game but they say he should be there on Thursday.
The Sabres won 10 in a row but have followed that up with 3 losses. That win streak help them climbed the standings but will need to snap this skid to stay at the top.
Leafs have won 4 in a row I like that to be 5 after this one.

Flames vs Blue Jackets Betting Tips:
The Flames have won 3 in a row and Mike Smith looks great. The Flames also have Rittich who has been awesome with a 8-2-1 record.
The Jackets lost their last game and are now in 2nd in the Metro. They have been decent recently going 8-3-1 over their last 12 .
The road team has won 13 of the last 16 games when these teams meet so I like that to continue in this one. And some decent odds for the Flames to win so I’ll be taking them.

Lightning vs Red Wings Betting Tips:
The Lightning are in first place in the East and the league. They lead the league in GPG with 3.82. They have owned the Wings winning their last 12 against them.
The Wings seem to have troubles keeping pucks out of their net. Their last game was a 2-0 loss to the Avalanche but before that it was a 4-2 win against the Bruins, a 4-3 win against the Blues and a 7-5 loss to the Jackets. They’re going to need to score a pile in this game to have a chance.
There is questions about the Lightning’s goaltending since Vasilevskiy went down with an injury and Domingue has started 11 in a row for them. They will need to give the guy a break and why not against a team like the Wings and let Eddie Pasquale have his first start in the NHL. It’s the goalie questions that have me liking the over more than a Bolts win
