Only the one tip yesterday and we won it. I need to thank Graeme for being able to cover the tips for me as I had some things that I needed to take care of and was unable to miss them. Thanks buddy!!
We had the Flyers vs Islanders game to go over 5.5. This got off to a great start when the Isles scored the first 3 goals of the game. The Flyers answered with 2 of their own in the 2nd. The Flyers scored with less than 2 minutes remaining to tie the game at 3 but the Isles responded with one of their own a minute later and added an empty net goal for the 5-3 win and the Over for us.
The Blues vs Ducks game had to be postponed as Jay Bouwmeester collapsed on the bench late in the 1st period due to a cardiac episode. Thankfully the medical trainers were able to get to him quickly and he was alert and moving all of his extremities. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.
The Oilers beat the Blackhawks 5-3. Draisaitl and a goal and 3 assists to extend his lead over his teammate McDavid in the points category. Speaking of McDavid, it was announced that he would miss 2-3 weeks with a quad injury. This is going to be a huge test for the Oilers. They are currently in 2nd in the Pacific but only one point behind the Canucks and they have a game in hand.
The Leafs beat the Coyotes 3-2 in overtime. Campbell picked up the win and is now 2-0-1 since joining the Leafs, all 3 games were decided in overtime.
The Lightning beat the Penguins 2-1 in OT. This was a game that should have went over with 2 high powered offenses but it stayed low.
With Zucker being traded, the Wild responded when they beat the Golden Knights 4-0. Bill Guerin said that he expects this team to still contend for a playoff spot and will make more moves if he sees players not performing.
Back to a slower day of hockey today with only 3 games.
Canadiens vs Bruins Betting Tips
Huge rivalry game here. This is arguably the biggest rivalry in the NHL.
This is the 4th and final meeting between these teams. The first was a 5-4 Canadiens win, the 2nd a 8-1 pounding by the Bruins and the last was a 3-1 Bruins win.
The Bruins are in tops spot in the league right now but enter this game off of a loss. That loss was against the league worst Red Wings and snapped the Bruins win streak at 6 games. The Bruins will be looking to get back in the win column here.
The Habs are 8 points back of the final wildcard spot. If they are to make the playoffs they will need to show up in every game from here on out.
When its a rivalry game like this one and with 2 of the 3 games between them so far this season being high scoring I’m going to go with the over.
