Hi all,
A 1-2 night last night. Thank you to the Calgary Flames from saving it from being a brutal one.
We had the Senators to beat the Bruins but the offense for the Sens couldn’t get going. Bruins got an early lead, and Sens just couldn’t find the goal that would get them back in the game. It was a couple of gritty goals from the Bruins but that is what they needed.
Predators – I mean I said why I don’t bet them. Games like that are exactly why. Sadly, I will never learn my lesson and still look to back teams I hate betting on in spots like that.
Canucks/Leafs did get that hot start and the first period went over. Interesting that yet again, the Leafs were unable to score in the first period. The Leafs have been excellent this season – but that is something that would concern me somewhat.
Let’s check out todays four games:
Canadiens vs Sabres:
Sabres come in on a break. Montreal on a back to back on a 500 game losing streak it feels like.
Last night was a killer. The freaking Hamburglar could possibly be in goal today.
Buffalo have owned Montreal so far this season.
This is one of those games I am very conflicted by. I just feel like the Habs pull it out and get the win. I’m not sure if it’s just a standard gut feeling, or if its because I’m a Habs fan. On paper, this is a good spot for the Sabres to get back on the winning track. They have solid road victories over teams of the calibre of the Habs and actually a lot of good road performances.
Not fully feeling it, but just based on the way the Habs are right now I gotta back a team at these odds against them.

Capitals vs Senators:
No interest in taking the Caps -1.5 with the way they have been playing. But with the Senators offensive struggles at the moment – I expect that one should come in.
Devils vs Penguins:
Ooof. Devils ride a two game winning streak into this one. Confidence gotta be high.
I like the over in this one but so do the sportsbooks which have it at 6.5. No bet here.
Stars vs Avalanche:
Stars more shaky at home lately. But they are not a team I would bet against with an in regulation bet at the moment from a road team – no matter who that team is. Hope that sentence made sense. MacKinnon may be back for the Avs. Either way no bet here.
