Rough night with the tips last night.
We have had a great month so far so we were due. That’s the joy of Betting.
We had over 5 and the Lightning to win in their game against the Blues and the Blues won 2-1. We also had the Bruins to continue their dominance against the Red Wings and sure enough the Wings won 6-5.
The Sabres beat the Avalanche 4-1. It was a battle of backups and it still stayed low when the Devils beat the Kings 1-0. The Rangers beat the Flyers 3-1. Even without Nash the Rangers have been playing great and at a perfect time with the playoffs on the horizon.
It’s Family Day in Canada and Presidents Day in America. 7 games today and the start times are perfect for a day full of hockey. Let get back to winning with the NHL Betting Tips for Monday, February 15th
Penguins vs Panthers Betting Tips:
When these teams play each other there seems to be goals. Over their last 10 meetings they have averaged 6.10 goals.
The Pens sit in 17th place with 2.57 goals per game and the Panthers in 10th with 2.73.
The Panthers come into this one a 2 game losing skid so will be looking to get back on track. The Penguins have been decent over their last 10 going 7-3 but sit in 9th place in the East one point behind the Lightning and Islanders.

Ducks vs Flames Betting Tips:
The Ducks have been on fire recently going 8-1-1. They have won 9 of the last 11 games against Calgary.
The Flames have gone 5-5 over their last 10 and sit tied for 12th in the West.
It’s hard to bet against the Ducks right now and when they take on a team that hasn’t been strong all year, you have to like their chances in this game.

Canadiens vs Coyotes Betting Tips:
The Coyotes are 3-8-2 over their last 13 games and have had problems scoring goals during this stretch.
The Habs are 4-6 over their last 10 and are now 10-21-2 without Carey Price.
On paper, this game should be won by Montreal but with this team it’s tough to predict. But with Sven Andrighetto and his strong game last game, 2 goals, and being on the top line for this one you have to like the Habs chances.

Im not very good @ goalbets, but the way the Preds and Stars have played lately i’d say over 5 should be a pretty safe bet.
Im actually afraid of the Panthers right now.. There’s a good chance their work ethic will be miles ahead of Pens. One of those rare games where playing your backup might be benefitial, Pens know the Panthers are dealing with a lot of injuries+Montoya? “Yeah this will be an easy win” could be the mindset.. Ohwell already made my bet, but if there’s anyone still thinking about this game i wouldn’t go all out on the Pens.
Pens are down 1 with a period left. I still think you made the right call here. We’re in for a good third and possibly OT!

I’m curious why you took Yotes and Wild ML. both teams are sliding and in disarray.
Well i based them on Canadiens & Canucks road/home forms and frustrations at that.
I actually backed down from betting on the Wild b/c their odds are low, and you never know how it’s going to go with a new coach.
But the Yotes i’ve been fairly impressed by their home games lately, and the W they got against the Flames was a huge morale boost. And i thought the Yotes are very in range of beating the Habs, the difference between these two teams isn’t anything major.
We’ll see how it goes though, not sure-bet games by any means.

Stars-Preds OT / Stars ML – You mean that Stars vs Preds may go to Overtime, thats why you mention OT?
And Stars ML – you bet on Stars as Final winner, no matter if they go draw, correct?
Coyotes ML – Same I suppose – Coyote final game winner no matter on OT or penalties? Thank you.

Totally agree, both teams have been in high scoring games lately too, and the last 10 between the two average at 5.8 goals.

Upset pick for me is Calgary. NHL traded them a playoff spot for Wideman’s 20 games.
I like that theory, just gotta hope Hiller shows up to play every single night!

Hawks – (against Leafs at home? Better win!)
Candiens/Coyotes – OVER (wide open game)
Wild/Canucks – UNDER (Markstrom is a beast)
the professionals see some big opportunity in the Stars-Preds, BH-Leafs and Habs/Yotes. I received 7-U alerts on those 3 games and it’s very unusual to get 3 alerts in one day.
If you look at those games here’s what I see:
Stars-Preds over – Stars have 17 goals in last 5 and Preds have 20 goals in last 5.
Leafs-BH – Leafs have six guys on IR and Panik is playing against former team. That seems to get an entire team motivated. Darling is no slouch and Reimer is 3.33 after AS break. Leafs on last game of gruelling road trip. Take BH O3.5, O5 and BH -1.5
Habs-Yotes – Montreal is 3-1 in last 4 and Yotes are going the other way. Habs win and O5.5. possible OT here.
Nucks ML – Wild on serious slide, terrible record in Van and Markstrom is a wall.
