There was 9 games yesterday and I had 1 tip which was a loss.
I went with the Islanders in regulation against the Sens but this game needed a shootout to be decided and it was the Sens winning 3-2. Mandolese picked up the win in his first start for the banged up Senators.
The Habs beat the Hawks 4-0 for their 3rd win in a row. Jaxson Stauber took his first loss after winning his first 3 games.
The Canes beat the Caps 3-2, the Blues beat the Panthers 6-2, the Lightning beat the Avalanche 4-3 in a shootout and the Bruins beat the Stars 3-2 in overtime.
6 games tonight.
Blackhawks vs Maple Leafs
As expected, the Leafs are favored here. They are 6-3-1 over last 10, are at home where they have gone 20-6-4, are ranked 8th in goals per game, 6th in goals against and have the 4th best power play.
The Hawks are a mess.
We would need to take the Leafs -2.5 so it’s an easy skip.
Lightning vs Coyotes
The Lightning have won 3 in a row and are in 2nd in the Atlantic but the Leafs are tied with them for points having played one more game.
The Coyotes are 2-0-2 in the month of February and 3-0-3 over last 6 but are way out of the playoffs, 17 points behind 8th.
In games with no days rest between the Lightning are 3-5-1 and on the road they are 14-12-0.
Would need to take Lightning -1.5 and with the above mentioned stats I just can’t do it.
Red Wings vs Oilers
The Wings are coming off of two big wins against the Canucks and have won 3 in a row.
The Oilers have been playing well of late going 7-1-2. They will need to continue that play to get themselves into a better position in the standings. They are in the 1st wild card spot but can still climb back into the top 3 in the Pacific as the teams in front of them are within reach.
Both teams have lots to gain here and both have had some decent results of late. The Oilers are the favorites but it’s tough to predict with both playing well.
Avalanche vs Wild
The Avs are 6-3-2 and played last night. They are set to play in three straight back-to-backs over their next few games and each time in the second half of each back-to-back the team they are playing will be coming off an off day
The Wild have gone 3-6-1 over last 10 and and 4 of their last 7 games needed extra time.
With the Wilds record over last 10 and the Avs playing last night I’m skipping.
Rangers vs Canucks
The Rangers are rolling right now winning their last 5 games in a row. The Canucks have dropped 2 straight and are 3-6-1 over last 10.
The Rangers are in 3rd in the Metro and 3 behind the Devils and 6 behind the Canes. The have played one more game than both teams so they need to win against teams like the Canucks who are struggling.
With the Rangers coming off of a big road win against the Canes they are riding so serious momentum on this streak.

Sabres vs Ducks
The Sabres are a team that I now have to avoid. They are having troubles scoring and until they show me otherwise I’m staying away.
This could be a good game for them to pick up much needed win and snap their losing skid at 4 games but who knows.
