It was a rough night yesterday as we went 0-2.
Had the Rangers to win in regulation against the Bruins. They won 2-1 but it was in a shootout. The other tip we had was the Avalanche -1.5 against the Stars. The Stars won 4-1.
The Penguins beat the Flyers 5-4 in overtime and Crosby scored to become the 46th player in league history to score 500 career goals.
The Flames beat the Jackets 6-2 for their 7th win in a row and moved them past the Knights for 1st place in the Pacific Divsion. Newly acquired Tyler Toffoli scored in his debut for the Flames.
Only 4 games tonight.
Wild vs Jets Betting Tips:
These teams played each other on February 8th and the Jets won 2-0. It was a rough game that had multiple fights. That loss to the Jets was the Wilds only loss in their last 9 games and only their 3rd since the new year.
This is the 4th and final game between these teams this season with the Wild winning the first two.
I would think that the Wild win this game. But the Jets are hard to predict as they are so inconsistent. They beat the Wild on the 8th and they are getting Pionk back from Covid in this one. Foligno returns too from the suspension he took on the 8th so this could be another rough game.
I have to skip due to most recent results and the Jets play being so hard to back.
Panthers vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
This should be a great game between two of the best teams in the league.
The Panthers are in 2nd place in the Atlantic with 69 points, the Canes are in 2nd in the Metro with 67 points.
The Panthers haven’t played since February 1st so having more than 2 weeks off could hurt them. The lost their last game to the Rangers but had won 4 straight before that.
The Canes have gone 1-2-1 over thier last 4 games and they now start a 3 game road trip against some strong teams, the Panthers, the Predators and the Penguins.
They have played twice this season with the Panthers winning both but the last game was a close one that needed overtime.
It tough to call this game with the Panthers having been off for a long stretch. They have has success against the Canes this season but again that extended break may cause them to take time to get back into things.
Ducks vs Flames Betting Tips:
The Ducks are slumping again losing their last 2 games and have gone 4-4-2 over last 10.
The Flames have won 7 in a row and are in 1st in the Pacific with 2 games in hand over the 2nd place Knights.
They have played twice this season and both games were close. The first a Ducks 3-2 win in overtime and the 2nd was a 4-3 Flames win in a shootout.
With the way the Flames are rolling right now it’s hard to bet against them especially when they are at home.
Flames win in regulation

Avalanche vs Knights Betting Tips:
The Avalanche lost last night so they will be looking to get back on track in this one.
The Avalanche have gone 8-1-1 over last 10 the Knights 5-3-2.
They have played once this season and the Knights won that 3-1.
The Knights will have Jack Eichel make his season debut here after having not played since last March. It’s a long time for a player to miss and I’m sure there will be rust. They have him penciled in to be the #1 center between Pacioretty and Dadonov. The Knights are without Stone and Lehner.
This should be a good game and an exciting time for the Knights with Eichel arriving but how much can we expect him to do having been off so long.
With Lehner out too I like the Avalanches chances to win this game.
Avalanche win incl OT/SO

To WIN Moneyline: Flames and Wild
To WIN: Canadian Women’s Olympic Team (vs USA)
Leans: Flames win puckline, Florida/Canes Over 6.0
Anaheim doesn’t play well in back-to-backs, but hasn’t played since February 1. Back-to-back holidays can be detrimental. Their recent track record, matched against Calgary’s hot pepper shaker, should see a definitive Calgary win, and Calgary’s back-to-back after beating the Jackets should be no speed bump for them, they have more than enough scorers on many lines, and outstanding defense and goalies, I think Calgary on the puckline is a high possibility.
The Wild aren’t screwing around. Winnipeg seems to only come out of some kind of lethargic alcoholic stupor when playing Division opponents, but the Wild lost to them first game after the All-Star break, on the road after having been crushing teams in most other games. Feb 8th is recent, the Wild will remember that, and the Jets are I think going to be taught a lesson tonight, and the Jets trying to use fights to get the Wild off their game, won’t work for the score sheet result. Jets suck.
Not willing to take the Over 6.5 on the Panthers game but Over 6.0 looks appetizing. The worry I have is that Florida has not played since the 1st; this could be a low-scoring game, big on defense.
If we could figure out what makes the Jets tick we would be billionaires 🙂
