Good night of betting for us last night as we went 2-1. The Pittsburgh Penguins won for us at +108 and the Buffalo Sabres also won at +158.
What a great night of hockey that was. And what a game between the Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins. Led by Thomas Vanek and his 5 point night (3g & 2a) they ended up winning 7-4. This game had a bit of everything happen in it. Wow what a start to the season for Vanek. The Penguins got themselves back on track with a 3-0 win over the Rangers. The Leafs managed to hold off the struggling Capitals and truly a back and forth game was eventually won in OT to give the Islanders the win over the Devils 5-4.
It’s a decent night of hockey tonight with 7 games scheduled for tonight. A few that I’m really looking forward to are: A battle between two Central division rivals as the St. Louis Blues take on the Detroit Red Wings. When ever the Chicago Blackhawks and the Vancouver Canucks play its always a great game with plenty of history between these teams. Also The Philadelphia Flyers and the Washington Capitals meet up and talk about a game that features 2 teams who are doing just terrible. Good news for those 2 teams is that 1 of them is guaranteed to win.
Ok now for my predictions:
Blackhawks vs Canucks: Blackhawks To Win
These are some truly great games between these two and tonight won’t be any different. Expect the suddenly hot and untradeable Roberto Luongo to get the start here. But this Hawks team is strong this year. With the exception of the speed bump that was the shootout lose to the Wild on Wednesday night the Hawks have been near perfect.

Flyers vs Capitals: Over / Under 5.5 Over
Something has got to give for these 2 teams. They are both much better than their records would suggest. It’s a short season and no team can afford to go on a run of terrible hockey and actually expect to be playing any meaningful hockey in the Summer. Both teams realize this and they need to start winning and now.
