A good night of hockey last night and we went 1-1-1 with the tips.
Our win was our tip of the Predators to win against the Red Wings and they did 3-2. The win put the Preds into first place in the Central and 1 point behind the Knights for first place in the Western Conference.
Our loss was our tip of Over 6 in the Panthers – Leafs game. This game stayed about as low as it gets when the Leafs won 1-0. The Leafs scored with less than 30 seconds left in the first period and that was all the offense to be had in this game.
We had gone with over 6 in the Lightning vs Capitals game. The Lightning scored 3 times in the first, the Caps scored in the second and they both scored in the third with the Lightning coming out 4-2 winners hitting exactly 6 for a push for us.
The Kings beat the Jets 4-3. Phaneuf scored for the 3rd time in 4 games since the trade. He has as many goals this season in a Kings jersey as he did wearing a Sens shirt.
The Avalanche beat the Canucks 5-4 in OT. All 5 of the Avs goals were scored on the powerplay. Tyson Barrie had 5 points setting a Colorado record for points in a regular season game by a defenseman. Nathan MacKinnon had 4 points.
A slower night tonight with only 3 games and nothing we like. We have looked through each game and just can’t find anything. Be sure to discuss in the comments and hopefully you’ll find something in there.

Vegas was shutout by the Ducks in their last game. To date, Vegas hasn’t been shutout in btob games and the Ducks do not have btob shutots. With that in mind, it’s highly probable that Vegas will score 1 goal on Rittich (2.67GA) and Miller (2.63GA) or Gibson (2.51GA) will give up one goal to Dallas tonight. Question is when? 1st, 2nd, 3rd? If you like making ‘live’ bets on ‘team to score 1st’ or ‘next team to score’ that strategy could work. What do you guys think of VGK and Blackhawks to win in reg today? I like both picks, but I’m not sure at all about them..
Blackhawks are 1-9 in last 10. Do you really have confidence they will win in regulation?
Blackhawks has some nice h2h stats with Ottawa and they have not playd against a team on the same level as Ottawa at home lately. 10.01 did Blackhawks beat Ottawa 8-2 on the road..
I would never look at a game played at the beginning of the season and make betting conclusions based on the way the teams played at that time. It’s like another season ago. Much has changed for both teams since then. For me I only consider how a team has played recently. Blackhawks are the worst team in the league right now, even worse than Sens, Yotes, Sabres and Nucks. They have given up for the season. They are 1-6 against losing teams in second half of the season. You mentioned they haven’t lost to a poor team? Not true. They lost to Nucks 2-4 on Feb 1 and lost to Yotes on Feb 12 1-6. Conversely Sens have 2 wins in last 3 and have played Leafs and Penguins tough and beaten Preds and Devils, both winning team. They should win tonight, but I wouldn’t put a lot on a regulation win because Sens are still playing hard.

I like Las Vegas to win tonight, but Flames will play them tough. It’s a division game and Flames need points. Flames have a very good road form. They also do a good job of rebounding from losses (Preds after Boston, Isles after Rangers). They are a streaky team and have lost two in a row. They’ll be working hard to get a W tonight against a division opponent. Vegas has a bullseye on it because they are the best team in the league and every team wants to come in to their arena and beat them. They won’t be getting any easy wins anymore.
I agree with you on this one, Flames will fight hard. Therfore this is a very hard game to predict. All games tonight is hard to predict..
I like chicago as well. They are playing vs a hurting sens team that is playing their back up goalie. They are 2-5 this season when underdogs between +130 – +160. While hawks are 4-1 when they are favorites by -160 t0 -200.

I really like the way the Ducks are playing lately and I am not a Ducks fan. Conversely the Stars road form is not great and they are not playing well defensively. I like the Ducks to win but only ML not regulation.
The Flames are in the hunt and need points because they are just behind the Kings and Ducks. They are a good road team and will be bringing it from the start of the game. I expect a very tight game and with Vegas missing Neal and some other guys I don’t see an offensive explosion. Vegas should win but the ML line is too high and regulation is risky.

Flames are ranked second in the Western Conf based on away form which is commendable.
But just cannot overlook how damn good the Knights have been this season.
I’m torn on all 3 games.
the Flames LVK game is going to be very competitive so it’s hard to pick a side. I do like the under though if it’s 6, under 5.5 no.
Under 6.0 sits at 1.76 for me. I’m not too impressed with those odds.

I think his multiple trophies at Chelsea have something to say about “win one thing”. He is one of the greatest managers to grace the game. United have spent huge amounts of money before Mourinho and look how they played. Being second to a man city side that has spent over £400 million on its defence in a few years is nothing to be ashamed about. Yes certain buys were stupid, and even when he was at Chelsea he made mistakes with players. He got rid of Lukaku and De Bruyne , and as a Chelsea fan I don’t like that. That being said he is a superb manager.
How did he leave Chelsea? Not on good terms.

He left on bad terms because Chelsea and Abramovich love to fire. The players gave up on him, only a few months after he won the league. He complains a lot yes, but he is far from the only manager to do that. Is he arrogant? Absolutely. However, to say we could make United play better is really underestimating what he does. City may be playing nicely, but they’ve been pumping money in for far longer than any club, so it’s about damn time.
We are not going to agree on this point, but only thing z’n saying is that with this material you should play much better than only park the bus, he does that everywhere football is shit! Even bournemouth try to play better football and hou cant compare them with United.
And no he didn’t only left because they want to fire some one, but when you play shit like him with this kind of teams, and dont win trophies anymore and be that arrogant youre impossible to work with and the supp. Want you away because he think he is god.

Another good night last, with only the Jets letting me down.
Tonight these are my plays
Ducks ML – Kings win last night unseated the Ducks from their playoff spot, and they’ll want it back. I wasn’t convinced by the Ducks until that Vegas performance, but if you can shutout Vegas on the road you can beat a bad Stars team. Stars simply aren’t the same team on the road. Stars are often a good bounce back team, but the Ducks really want and need this win, and have had success at home to the Stars already this season. Miller is a great goalie in my opinion, so I’m not too concerned about no Gibson.
Vegas Reg- I hear what SDB has to say, but that being said we are talking about Vegas. The best team in the league. Vegas is the best bounce back side off a loss in the NHL, and with the Preds only 1 point behind them in the West now, they have plenty of reason to win this. Vegas are without Neal, but the Flames are without Smith. Rittich played well against the Bruins but that was better than his usual. The Knights will want to score after laying an egg versus the Ducks, and honestly this Flames side relies too heavily on a few players to produce. If the Knights have proved anything it’s that they’re a team, and they can win even when missing a few parts. I can’t bet Vegas to lose two games in row and home for only the second time this season.
Sens ML- Call me crazy, but the Sens are 4-2 in their last 6 whilst hawks are 1-7 in their last 8. This is a value play more than anything. With as bad as the Hawks are, they should not be at such a high price. I won’t play this large, cause Sens suck, but I’m not sure they suck as much as the Hawks right now.
