It was a nice easy winning night last night with the NHL Tips. Wish all nights were like that!
We had just the one tip which was Over 5.5 goals in the Blackhawks vs Coyotes game. It was Over 5.5 before the 1st period was even done!
The Habs continue to struggle with a 3-0 loss against the Islanders. We were slightly tempted by them yesterday but rewatching their last games coming off the bye there’s still a lot of issues there.
Bruins bounced back strong with a huge 4-1 win over the Kings.
Quieter night tonight with just 4 games and we’ve got two tips for you.
Senators vs Hurricanes Betting Tips:
More an odds based one. We feel this is a real 50/50 type game. Senators have their injuries but that doesn’t seem to be stopping them and they’ve had some really solid defensive performances lately.
Hurricanes have clearly given up on the season. Now that’s not neccessarily a bad thing – the pressure can come off a team at this point and you might see some more free flowing hockey from them. We’re just banking on it not being tonight.
Like I said we see this being 50/50 so we’re happy to take the underdogs tonight.
Senators to win incl OT/SO

Panthers vs Flames Betting Tips:
Two teams which are battling very hard at the moment. Panthers seem to play to their opponents when it comes to goal scoring so we’ll bank on the Flames offense to take the lead there. They’re pretty woeful on the road offensively however the last few games between the two have seen high scoring games and their offense on the road has been solid recently.
There are a few negatives we feel about this one but the odds are just good enough to go with it. We’re going with Over 5.5 Goals in this one.

What do you guys think about this parlay:
Washington ML
Dallas ML
Calgary/panthers Over
Dallas is coming off a bye, watch out.
I’m going to leave that one out then and maybe place a separate small bet on Arizona.
I like Yotes/Stars over, both teams have weak goalies and defense is leaky
Ok final pick will be coyotes/stars over since smith is not in net.
Only reason I’m not sure about taking them, without Smith it’s about 50/50 but with Smith in net I’d probably take them
Fruit..you can definitely grab a better parlay piece than Dallas.
Hi. Im new to here. For extra picks follow my twitter.
Caps reg – 1.80 (2 units)
Cayotes TT over 2.5 – 2.41 (1 unit)
FL in reg
FL TT O 2.5
Wash in Reg
AZ TT O 2.5
Best of luck!
What do you think about Arizona ML? Just because Dallas is coming off a break…
I firmly believe Coyotes will score. I just hope Smith is in net…Coyotes 2-8 in B2B situations. But I think there’s some value here. Stars have been so inconsistent and we all now how teams have done off the break. I think it’s worth 1/2 a unit.
Domingue confirmed
Goals galore?
good parlay:
Sens +1.5
Yotes/Stars over
Kari Lehtonen 13-24 SU is the NHL’s least profitable goalie. If you had bet on Crazy Kari every game he started, you would be down -$1190. He has a 3.38 GAA.
that’s why i love over in this game. Yotes to keep it close for sure
LOVE parlay Yotes +1.5 / Sens +1.5
Definitely the PLs
Could be a nice value bet.
Well my free bet is building so lets split it up and see where it goes.
Bets/Tips today:
ARZ/DAL (1st period ovr/1.5) -125
OTT Senators (Regulation Win) +200
GLTA!
Great slate today boys (& girls). There are some fantastic opportunities to make some money with both single bets and parlays. Of course, I’m usually wrong (but not last night with my Bruins picks).
Flames/Cats over – agree with S&G here. Both teams pushing hard and getting a lot of offence. Cats should be helped because Johnson has been sub-par of late and Flames are b2b. Odds for Cats to win are too high to play and these are two motivated teams so I’m staying away from Cats reg.
Caps reg – Oilers are on 4th game of road trip and are banged up and playing the league’s best team. It will be tough to beat Caps at home with Holtby in net.
Love Sens tonight against a Canes team that is tanking and just moved Hainsey to Pens. With Lack in net it’s going to be a cakewalk for Sens. Sharpest bet of the night, oddsmakers are dead wrong.
Lots of value in Yotes tonight playing against a Stars team coming off bye week. They may not beat Stars but they will keep it close and there should be lots of goals with Domingue in net and a lazy Stars team.
couple of parlay thoughts:
Cats ML
Oilers/Caps over
Sens ML
Yotes +1.5
Sens ML
Yotes/Stars over 6
Sens +1.5
Yotes +1.5
should be a fun night. GLTA
Howdy SDB! I love all of your plays and thought process. I rarely disagree with you. I am trying to wrap myself around the Sens. They have the better goalie and defense here no question. Are you betting Sens more as a fade against Hurricanes? With Stone, Hoffman out for Sens, it’s just too hard for me to take them. I agree Canes are done. I think I can score om Eddie “spaghetti” Lack. Are they deflated? Probably so. Could they be happy knowing the pressure is off them making the playoffs as Graeme notes? Probably.(Laying on the psychologist couch with lights dimly lit).
A cigar is just a cigar. Sens are the better team and have played well despite injuries. Canes just traded vet Gainsey and that has to be deflating. They’re just showing up at this point and will be playing younger guys. Sens are in the playoffs and want to stay that way. I don’t think they are taking their foot off the gas tonight with Isles, TML, Bs and Cats nipping at their heels. No one wants to play Caps in first round.
Yes for sure the playoff implications/seedings are huge. That makes a big difference.
12 wins in a row ( 11 in reg.) for Caps. Wow! This is a litle bit to much for NHL. So…i pick Oilers in reg.
I like very much Coyotes. Very good value for them and Stars this season was a big disapoinment. So…Coyotes in reg.
Also i like Flames. Don’t ask me why. Its something about instinct.
Reading comments here like Senators.
Finally… single combo with away team in reg. @ 118 final odd.
Caps have lost 3 games in last 12 to Pens, Sens and Isles.
Forget to say at home.
Tonights picks
Caps in reg
CATS/FLAMES over 5
And, this might not look good, but I have a good feeling about Stars tonight, so I’m going for the Stars to win in reg.
Thoughts that will convince me to stay away from the Stars?
GLTA anyways!
Stars coming off bye week
Ahh.. yeah I know.
Here’s a parlay for you guys. take the dogs +1.5 in all four games. pays close to 3.75. I don’t see any blow outs tonight. Oilers are motivated and Caps are missing Orpik and Niskanen, two D they rely on. Flames and Cats will be a close game. Sens are going to beat Canes and Yotes are going to give Stars a game who are coming off bye week.
> Caps in reg
> Panthers/Flames over 5.5
> Stars/Coyotes over 1.5 1st period / Coyotes to win
Caps in reg
Sens in reg
Panthers ML
Coyotes ML
Caps TT over 2.5
Canes-Sens under 5.5
Panthers TT over 2.5
Stars-Coyotes over 5.5
What do you think?
Cats ML is slightly risky and Yotes ML is risky but good value. I like your other picks
I actually think there’s value on the flames ML considering they have a good record against the Panthers, sure the cats went on that good road trip, but then they lost at home right after that to the oilers and if they can do it, the flames definitely can.
Maybe, but consider that Flames are 3-7 for b2b, 3-5 for 3 consecutive road games and playing their back-up in net. Cats are rested, at home and are 4-1 in last 5. By the way, Cats are 8-2 in last 10, which including 5 home games. This makes them one of the hottest teams in the league. Just sayin’
Should have payed more attention to your opinion.
Good insight.
Anyone that over looks certain trends and assumes it can never happen should take up another hobby. Anything can happen in a hockey game, hot goalie, bad bounce, dumb penalty. The ones that look at all angles not just the obvious are the ones that have $$$ when the fun is over.
Respect your insight, well played, keep it up.
Cheers
yea, I might not take those 2 picks coz they are too risky…
I’m getting 1.00 on Caps win tonight. Sounds pretty solid to me based on comments above & below.
Oilers TT O2.5
Sens-Canes OT
Flames ML
Stars in reg
GL !
Like the picks so far, although I do think Sens (ML) or reg could be a great play today too, Eddie Lack in net for the canes tonight
In my notes it’s a huge letdown spot for the road team, that sometimes go to OT, i would’ve gone for the Canes ML if not for the low odds.
I’ll give an insight to my notes. So here’s all the games played this season, where the road team flew high, then lost, and bounced back before playing the next one against a team that’s lost +2 games in a row looking for some kind of spark.
(Sens won 2 in a row and 4 out of 5, before losing to Winnipeg, and then bouncing back against New Jersey. Carolina is obviously struggling, having lost 5 in a row)
WSH1
CAR 5
ANA 4
DET 6
VAN 2
FLA 4
NYI 1
TOR 7
PIT 1
BUF 2 (SO)
NYI 1
COL 2 (OT)
TBL 3
DAL 4 (OT)
CGY 1
VAN 2 (OT)
Not a single road win.
is there any value on a coyotes win tonight? without Smith in net I find it hard to take them although the odds are tempting because they have been playing better hockey lately and Stars are coming off of a bye week and to be honest, haven’t played that well anyway.
Lost my 1st period bet last night, the goal tending was stellar Anderson pretty much robbed me off winning the bet last night with his carey price like heroics.
Arizona Coyotes vs. Dallas Stars. The total for the game is listed at 6 and my angle is on a game listed at 6 or 6.5O/U is to play Over 1.5 1st periods -118.
The game is listed as 5.5O/U, but my numbers show it should be listed as 6O/U. We will play the over 5.5 +123.
Good luck guys
Sens first is showing +200. that’s a GREAT value with Eddie Lack in net and Canes in disarray
Hey guys, nice odds for the conference winners: Which ones do you like here?
Caps and Blackhawks
Yeah. Caps for sure. Hawks good value. Also Sharks…
what’s up guys!? My tips for tonight.
oilers/caps over 5.5
flames/panthers over 5.5
sens ML
good luck to all!

Yotes chances just got better: Patrick Eaves–37 points and 21 goals–traded to Ducks
Saw that, I’ll probably put something on yotes tonight.
