It was a full night of hockey yesterday with 12 games.
I had the Leafs to win in regulation against the Knights but the Knights won 6-2 snapping the Leafs win streak at 7 games.
The Wings picked up their 6th straight win when they beat the Caps 8-3. The Pens beat the Canucks 4-3 in OT, Flames won their 4th in a row when they beat the Kings and the Avalanche beat the Stars 5-1 in a battle of Central divison rivals.
Only 2 games tonight.
Jackets vs Rangers Betting Tips:
These teams played each other on Sunday and the Jackets won that one 4-2.
Jackets are 4-5-1 in last 10. On the road they have gone 9-13-6. They’re 21st in GPG, 20th in shots, 31st in GAPG and 30th in shots on goal allowed.
The Rangers are 9-1-0 in last 10. At home they are 20-7-0. The rank 9th in goals, 14th in shots, 6th in GAPG and 9th in SOGA.
After the Rangers had their win streak snapped I’m a little reluctant to tip them. But they are at home where they have won the last 5 games they played there. But I’m still passing as we would have to take them -1.5
Blues vs Oilers Betting Tips:
These teams played each other about 7 games ago and the Blues won that one 6-3.
The Blues played the Jets yesterday and lost. They are 4-6-0 last 10 and have lost last 2.
The Oilers snapped their 3 game losing skid in their last game. They are 5-4-1 in last 10 and are 18-8-2 at home. They rank 5th in GPG, 3rd in shots, 12th in GAPG and 5th in SOGA.
With the Oilers getting back into the win column I want to see if it was a fluke or have they gotten themselves back on track.
Nothing on these two games. Both heavy favorites were just beaten in these matchups. The Rangers game breaks the 80/20 rule and the Oilers can’t seem to find consistency in their playing style. When they put on great defense, they have a major winning streak. When they go offense first, they’re scrambled eggs full of holes.
And I dont feel good picking one of the favs. Think one outsider will win again tonight. Better odds for me.
