It was a nice winning day yesterday. We went 2-1 with the tips, and a whopping 5-0 betting against teams coming off a bye week.
It truly is amazing what a difference the bye week makes. A few of those wins have been quite lucky but you can see how rusty a team is to start. If you’re looking for a much safer bet to make you might want to bet “First Team to Score” and bet against the team on a bye week.
The only team that let us down with the tips yesterday was the Blues. They looked hungry in that one but they just couldn’t close the deal and gave up way too many penalties. I was pissing myself at the end when on that 6 on 4 Tarasenko wound up and then broke his bloody stick. Just amazing.

Rangers vs Capital Betting Tips:
We all know the story with the Rangers offense and defense especially lately. At home they’re on fire offensively but concede more at home than the road. They’re going against the Capitals who are good at shutting a game down but following yesterdays loss against the Red Wings, will be coming all out for this game. Going into the bye week their offense was hot and they came alive late in yesterdays game.

Bruins vs Sharks Betting Tips:
Bruins coming off the bye week. I’ve liked a lot of the Sharks performances lately as they’re showing a lot of fight and team spirit. Their home performances are week but defensively they’re solid there. Rask is struggling on the road and the price is right.

Blackhawks vs Sabres Betting Tips:
Sabres going into their bye week and indications from this season so far means they’re going to be up for this game. Blackhawks had that slow start yesterday but I like them to come out firing today.

Islanders to get some revenge against the devils at home, they looked better than the devils for most of that game yesterday and if it went to OT i think they would have won
