Our double unit play of the over in the Penguins/Capitals game came in with ease last night, as that game went over big time.
Always nice to have a bet like that where you can relax early on. I think that was the 2nd most confident in a bet I’ve been all season, and the joint highest amount I’ve bet on a game this season (a very rare 10u bet I make).
It just had all the makings of a big one and I was scratching my head at that 5.5 line. Really thought it would have been at least 6. What a great one that was, and the Penguins are really starting to look like a solid team in the 2nd half of the season.
We also went 4-0 in the AHL tips yesterday so nice to have a clean sweep there, although the OHL 0.5u play lost.
The Knights picked up a loss as the Minnesota Wild continued their excellent home record.
Jets vs Avs Betting Tips:
Jets have been a solid bounce back team this season although not so well lately. However they’re coming out pumped after that Knights game and the interference no call – they’re not happy with that.
Avs got back on the winning track but meh it was against the Oilers. They’re a pretty solid road team but for me, the Jets just check all the boxes tonight. I like them to come out hungry and motivated for this one for a lot of reasons.

Blackhawks vs Flames Betting Tips:
Retro night in Calgary and you’d think the Flames would be up for it. Scott convinced me that this is “do or die” for the Hawks these two games against the Flames while sweating profusely – I think he knows Toews is already shining up the golf clubs. But you would think the Blackhawks are looking at these two games and knowing they have to get their shit together. Home or away Hawks offense is pretty much the same on the road. Flames leak more at home.

Coyotes incl OT/SO – 0.5u. I said to Scott I’d bet them if they were above 2.50 and you can get them at 2.75 so this is a play. Wedgewood is projected and he’s not great but Coyotes have beat the Kings the last 4 games. Kings do generally beat the bottom teams at home and should be favourites but I think is one is a solid value play.

Be careful, b2b and Devils are not a bad team but worth 1u the way Pens are playing. For me, not the best betting opportunity.

Can understand why you’re undecided on the Bolts when they’ve lost to Cal 5-1, Sens 6-3 & Habs 2-1 SO in Jan. Of course doesn’t mean it’ll happen tonight. Nucks have been shutout twice in their last 5gms but scored 4 goals 3 times in their last 3wins.

Add to that a shutout vs LA 5-0.
Rangers were awful against the Leafs, shutout 4-0 and Lundqvist was pulled. 8-1-2 on the road, 3-7-0 last 10 doesn’t help either.

The Jackets weren’t that bad against the Sharks yesterday I saw the game and it could easily tilted the other way. And remember, Sharks is a quality good team!

Colorado has been playing OK, but Winnipeg gets the indicators today. Nashville should slaughter the Rangers. The Rangers suck on away games and are not playing well in general.
