We had no tips yesterday.
The Stars beat the Blue Jackets 6-3. Pavelski continues his great start with 2 goals and 2 assists and now has 14 points in 7 games. Laine made his debut taking 2 shots and lead all Jackets forwards in ice time.
The Canadiens beat the Canucks again this time 5-3. Toffoli and Anderson both scored twice. With the win the Habs moved back in to first place in the North Divison.
The Hurricanes beat the Blackhawks 4-3 in a shootout. Svechnikov scored the first goal of the game and the shootout winner
The Ducks beat the Kings 3-1 and Deslauriers had a Gordie Howe hat trick.
Well make it 9 losses in a row for the Senators after they lost 4-2 to the Oilers. The Sens have only 3 points this season which has them dead last in the league and 3 points behind the Red Wings and Sharks.
Only 2 games scheduled for us tonight and it’s another day where we feel it’s safer to avoid making any tips.
Game Thoughts:
Sorry for having 2 days in a row with no tips. If there was to be a tip today it would have been forced which we obviously don’t want to do.
Red Wings vs Lightning:
The odds for this game are terrible. The Lightning are heavy favorites. Even taking the Lightning in regulation gets us 1.44 odds. Lightning -1.5 gets us just over our minimum with 1.74 odds. Just not worth it . Red Wings seem to rise to the occasion against Tampa too.
Bruins vs Flyers:
This should be a great game. The Flyers have won 4 in a row but have played the Bruins twice this season and lost both including a 6-1 pounding. Over 5.5 seems appealing but the Bruins were able to hold the Flyers to 1 goal in their last meeting so if that continues then we would be banking on the Bruins to do all of the heavy lifting in this game and they are ranked #14 in GPG with 3.11
