A slow night of hockey yesterday with only 2 games but it was good night for us with the tips yesterday as we went 1-0.
We had the Blues to win in regulation against the Stars and they did 2-1. This was a really close one for us. The Stars were up 1-0 until the last minute of the 3rd where the Blues stormed back. First it was O’Reilly scoring to tie it and Kyrou scored with less than 30 seconds left for the regulation win.
The other game was Red Wings vs the Ducks and it was a good one that needed extra time to be completed. It was a back and forth game that was tied at 2 after the 2nd. They traded goals in the 3rd and in the end it was won 4-3 in a shootout by the Ducks.
With 4 games postponed we have only 3 games scheduled for us tonight. So let get to the tips.
Bruins vs Capitals Betting Tips:
This will be the first game between these teams since last year’s playoffs where the Bruins eliminated the Caps in 5 games in round one.
The Bruins have been good since returning from the Covid/Christmas break going 4-1. The Caps have lost their last 3 games but 2 of them needed extra time.
This month the Bruins have had some high scoring games; 7, 5, 8, 6 and 7. The Capitals have also had some high scoring games since 2022 began; 5 ,6 and 7.
With these teams anxious to play each other since they haven’t played since last year’s playoffs I expect this to be a high scoring game.

Kraken vs Avalanche Betting Tips:
The Kraken have lost 5 in a row. They have played only 9 games since December 3rd and have gone 1-6-2 over those 9 games. If they have anything going for them it’s that they will be rested and ready here having not played since New Years day.
The Avalanche are rolling as they are on a 4 game win streak and have won 11 in a row at home. They had a nice comeback win in their last game so momentum will be on their side.
There isn’t any value for this game. I’m sure the Avalanche will win and extend their franchise record home win streak. But even an Avalanche -1.5 pick is only 1.64 so I’m skipping this game.
Rangers vs Kings Betting Tips:
Both teams have similar records over their last 10. The Rangers have gone 5-4-1 and the Kings 6-3-1.
The Rangers are on the road where they have gone 13-6-2, the Kings are at home where they have gone 11-8-2.
Tough game to call here. If I had to pick a team I guess it would be the Kings as the Rangers are still without their leading scorer Panarin but that hasn’t slowed them down yet winning 4 of their last 5 games.
The odds for this game are what we expected them to be, coin flip, so it’s a pass for me here.
I see that Panarin might play tonight so i’m going with the Rangers they have been a great road team and going with the Bruins too , I think they will extend the losing streak for the Capitals.

Caps ml – with addition of Oshie and Backstrom Caps are getting a major boost. The kid in net is really, really good and is going to stone the Bs.
Same situation with NYR. Panarin is going to give them a huge boost. They roll over the Kings.
