We had a couple of tips yesterday and we went 1-1.
We went with Over 6.5 in the Predators vs Jets game and this one stayed under big time. The Preds won 1-0. Juuse Saros made 28 saves and picked up his first shutout of the season .
Our win was Over 6.5 in the Maple Leafs vs Panthers game where the Panthers went over by themselves winning 8-4. My brother is a life long Maple Leaf fan and is in Florida with his family for a vacation. He made the over 3 hour drive from Kissimmee to watch his Leafs play in Florida only to see them get embarrassed.
The Canucks beat the Wild 4-1 for their 9th win in their last 11 games. Evan Rodrigues scored his first two goals of the season in the first 5 minutes of the game when the Sabres beat the Red Wings 5-1.
The Penguins beat the Coyotes 4-3 in a shootout which needed 8 rounds. The Devils beat the Lightning 3-1 which snapped the Lightnings 10 game win streak.
For today we have 5 games. We will go with another “Best Bet of the Night” for the poll and we will use these 3 games.

The Flames have been perfect to start 2020. They have won all 5 games since the calandar changed.
The Habs are getting good results from Kovalchuk since bringing him on board where has a goal and 3 assists. But they have gone 2-7-1 over their last 10.
Montreal is at home here and they haven’t been very good there going 8-11-4 this season. Its there lousy play at home and recently that has me taking Flames in this one. The Flames are tied for 1st place in the Pacific and will look to continue their strong play to gain a lead on the slumping Coyotes for top spot.

Ducks vs Blues Betting Tips
Really there isn’t much to say about this game. The Blues have been amazing. They are in 1st place in both the Central and the Western Conference and are tied for 1st overall in the league. They are riding a 3 game win streak into this one.
The Ducks are in last place in the West. They have lost their last 3 games and have gone 3-6-1 over their last 10.
The Blues are at home here where they have been great this season going 16-4-3. I like the Blues -1.5 here. One other reason we are going with the Blues -1.5 over in regulation is that we’ve seen spots like this before for a team. Where they are heavy favourites and check all the boxes as to why they should win to the point that you are very confident – then there is a big upset and they lose. This happened to us a few seasons back in a very similar spot with the Sharks versus the Sabres I believe. Probably almost the same odds, same situation etc and Sabres pulled off the upset win. So by betting that the heavy favourite wins by at least 2 to get better odds, it counters the times where the upset occurs.
