13 games yesterday and I had only 1 tip.
I had the Knights to win against the Preds but the Preds won 5-3. Stamkos had 2 goals and an assist.
The Sharks snapped the Wings win streak at 7 games when they won 6-3. Bruins picked up a big win beating the Lightning 6-2.
Connor had a natural hat trick in the 1st and the Jets beat the Canucks 6-1. The Avs beat the Rangers 3-2 in OT, the Caps shutout the Ducks 3-0
Only 2 games today.
Hurricanes vs Sabres
Canes are in 3rd in the Metro. They have gone 5-3-2 in last 10 and on the road they are 9-10-2.
The Sabres had lost 13 straight, which helps explain why they are in 8th in the Atlantic, but have gone 5-3-1 in the 9 games since. At home they’ve gone 8-11-3.
The Canes have way better numbers in CF, CA and both SF and SA. The Sabres have better numbers in GF/60 but Canes better in GA/60 and XGF and XGA.
I think that enough of the data goes in the Canes favor and I’ll take them here.

Oilers vs Wild
Should be a good game here. The Oilers are in 2nd in the Pacific and the Wild are in 2nd in the Central.
They have played twice so far with the Wild winning the game in November 5-3 and the Oilers winning the game in December 7-1.
Over the last 10 the Oilers are 7-2-1 and on a 2 game win streak, the Wild are 7-3.
On the road the Oilers are 12-6-2 and at home the Wild are 11-9-1
This game could go either way when looking at the way they have played this season and I’m skipping. If I was to make a pick it would be Oilers but I’m just not feeling it as it would have to be in regulation
Taking the day off. Canes may take it easy against Buffalo, who may respond and do well, so not touching that. Oilers “should” win against an injury-depleted Minnesota, but Minnesota may keep it close if they can stay out of the penalty box and score 3, since the Oilers are not scoring above 4 very often. Minnesota has done that in 7 of their last 10 games. Oilers have done a lot of traveling recently.
