Crazy night of action last night not only in the NHL but also in the NFL. That Packers – Cardinals game was unreal!!
The Rangers – Flyers game needed a shootout to be decided and it was the Rangers coming away with the 3-2 win. The Sabres scored 4 unanswered goals and they beat the Caps 4-1. The Leafs and Bruins were tied at 2 but with less than a minute left in the game the Bruins scored and held on for the 3-2 win. The Battle of Alberta was a great game as always and it was the Oilers winning 2-1 in a shootout.
We have another solid night of action tonight with 7 games and there is some big games taking place. The Kings and Ducks should be a good game as they are neighbors. The Battle of Florida when the Panthers are in Tampa, the Rangers vs Caps is a great rivalry and the Habs and Hawks play again.
Panthers vs Lightning Betting Tips:
After winning 12 straight, the Panthers are now on a 2 game losing skid. The Lightning are riding a 4 game win streak into this game.
They have played twice already this season and the Panthers won both. But with the way things have changed of late you have to like the Lightnings chances in this one.
But these are always good games so I can’t pull the trigger on the Bolts win. I do like there to be goals in this game so I’ll take the Over.

Rangers vs Capitals Betting Tips:
Both teams played last night, the Rangers won in a shootout and the Caps got their asses kicked by the Sabres.
With both playing last night it looks as though they’ll be going with their backups in this one.
Both teams have high powered offenses with the Rangers ranked #5 and the Caps #2 in goals per game and backups getting the start, this game has the potential to be high scoring.

Canadiens vs Blackhawks Betting Tips:
These teams are going in opposite directions.
As has been the case since Carey Price went down to injury, the Habs are 3-6-1 over their last 10 and ride a 3 game losing streak into this one. The Hawks are playing like the Hawks they are 10-0 and are now in 1st place in the West.
With Condon going last night it looks like Scrivens will get the start tonight.
The Hawks are at home against a backup. I have to take them in this one.

Unless the Habs can catch the Hawks on an off-night with some lucky bounces, I have to agree with the Hawks in reg.
Stats favour the Hawks but numbers aside the Habs played a very physical game last night, they’re emotionally drained ( losing in OT) & travelling so fatigue & low team morale will probably affect their game. Crawford is starting & Scrivens hasn’t had a lot of support.
Saginaw/Windsor
Win in reg looks good based on their record; Last 10 gms, 8-2-0,
2 game winning streak, won 5/6 vs Saginaw & 2dys off; Poor Saginaw, 3rd in a 3 game road trip & 4 game losing streak;
Flint /Ott
Ott is playing the 3rd in 3 nights & 1-1-0 last 2gms; Poor Flint are also playing the 3rd in 3 nights but on the road & 0-2-0 last 2gms; They’re 2GF & 13GA;
*I like Ott too but playing 3 in 3 nights could be a factor; Could be close and not worth -185 (if you wanna play it safe) for the win; Fingers crossed. 🙂
Sarnia 50pts/ Oshawa 37pts
Sting look good for the win -125. It is their 3rd in 3 nights going 1-1-0, 5-1-3 last 10 & 9-9-2 on the road; They’ve added offense with Konecky 52pts & Studnicka 28pts; General are 4-6-0 in last 10, 4 game losing streak (including a loss to the Sting on Friday
night) & playing their 3rd in 4 nights; They’re 9-9-1 at Home;
*Fatigue could be a factor for both teams, but the Sting have a better record; Good luck tonight!
