We had the one tip yesterday, Over 6 including OT/SO in the Capitals vs Penguins game, and it came through when the Pens won 4-3. This was a great game and having it go to a shootout to be decided was the perfect ending. This was the Penguins first win of the season and for the Capitals it was their first loss. Ovechkin scored his first of the season.
The other game was the Blackhawks vs the Panthers. The Panthers won 5-2. An interesting story heading into this game, it looked like Yandle was going to be scratched and break his streak of 866 consecutive regular season games played, Yandle played and scored and his streak is now 867 which is the 4th longest in NHL history.
A nice and busy day of NHL action with 10 games, the first starts at noon.
Flyers vs Sabres Betting Tips:
What a start to the season the Flyers have had. They are 2-0 after winning both games against the Penguins. Last season the Flyers went 16-4-4 against teams from their division.
The Sabres are 0-2 after dropping their first 2 games against the Capitals. The Sabres are still a better team this year then they were last season and once this team gets going I expect them to be better.
But with the way the Flyers look so far and doing so without Gostisbehere makes me think they continue their hot start in this game. Couturier will miss some time but the Flyers are a deep team and someone will step up in his absence.

Jets vs Maple Leafs Betting Tips:
The Jets have played only once this season and they won 4-3 in OT against the Flames. The Leafs have played 3 games beating the Habs 5-4 in OT, losing 5-3 to the Sens and then beating the Sens 3-2.
The Leafs placed Jason Spezza on waivers. His agent said that if he is claimed by another team he will retire. Spezza is a gpod depth player and strong on faceoffs. I hope he doesn’t retire as any veteran in the league deserves a cup and it would be cool if the Leafs win it this year so Spezza and Thornton could get the Cup and retire on top.
Matthews and Marner both scored their first goals of the season in their last game and I expect them to continue rolling in this game. The Leafs are the favorites here but I instead will go with the over.
