Happy New Year everyone.
There was 9 games yesterday.
Had the Flyers to beat the Flames but the Flames came away 4-3 winners.
McDavid puts up one point but the machine that calls itself Warren Foegele was there putting up 5 points in the Oilers 7-2 win against the Ducks. The Stars made the Hawks look stupid when they won 8-1 with Marchment scoring a hat trick .
The Lightning beat the Habs 4-3, the Bruins beat the Wings 5-3 for their 3rd straight win, the Jets beat the Wild 3-2 to sweep the weekend series and spoil Fleury’s 1000th game and the Pens won their 3rd in a row when they beat the Isles 3-1.
Only one game today and it’s the Winter Classic.
Knights vs Kraken Betting Tips:
The Knights have been off since the 28th. They haven’t been playing that great of late going 5-5 in last 10. They won their last game but had lost 4 in a row before that.
The Kraken have been off since the 29th and have been playing well winning their last 4 games and are 6-1-3 over last 10.
They played once this season with the Knights winning that one 4-1.
This is the first time either team has played in the Winter Classic.
These games are really tricky to predict. They are played outside so weather plays a huge roll in this game. How will the condition of the ice affect the pace of the game. It’s hard to use their stats from this season in a game like this.
The last 3 Winter Classics had mixed amount of goals. Last year’s saw the Bruins beat the Pens 2-1, the year before it was the Blues beating the Wild 6-4 and the one before that was the Preds vs the Stars with the Stars winning 4-2.
I can’t have an official tip for this game due to many things. I think it looks amazing and for the fans in attendance it’s quite an event to be at but it’s a complete guess as to who wins. I would say that the game goes over but that’s just my guess and not a tip. The players get to have their families skate with them before the game so for them it’s a special moment.

There goes 2023 and almost half an NHL regular season. Teams are past the introductory chaos of figuring out lines, early stage injuries, big anxieties of needs for trades, playoff hopes confused, rookies lighting up the scoreboards all over the place, etc. Some teams have things working well and some teams are still in a hell of a mess.
Today’s game is an “outside” event but it’s in T-Mobile Park, which may or may not be outside, depending on if they keep the dome roof opened or closed. However, it looks like a good excuse for a party in Seattle, after the Seahawks lost at home yesterday, so it will probably have great atmosphere with high energy. Weather forecast is for dry and low wind speed, and temperatures just above freezing all day, so I hope they put in a strong subsurface ice cooling system or ice conditions will be an issue.
No bets or leans. After today both teams have 2 days off, and with the teams trending in opposite directions for Over/Under, I can’t see anything clearly for betting.
